Can anyone tell me what they think about the picture in the ending credits of the cookie tin, the young man in the graduation outfit and the young couple. At first I thought the young couple was the leads at the pool hall the day it opened. Looking at it more closely it looks more like the second leads in a picture together. I think both are pics from the new timeline not the original one. If that is the case then somehow they all get connected again. I’ve read the thread of comments and no one mentions this pic and it’s really driving me s bit crazy

There’s also pics on a stand of the two of them at the pool hall opening with them happy and smiling, the cookie tin and a pic of a lone person who looks to be a male in a graduation outfit holding a diploma. I couldn’t see it too clearly. I was thinking in the new timeline they had a son together and that son is the one who got the last letter. Might be me just thinking too much but very curious about that pic during credits. If anyone else saw it and has some thoughts about it let me know. I thought at first it was the 2026 version but the kids acted like it was the first time seeing the pic of the two parents together at pool hall so it would not be on display at his mothers house. I guess I’m thinking too much.

Look at the pics along side credits at end. Shows birthday cakes through out the years. One pic shows the cookie tin along side a pic of them back when pool hall opened and a boy in a graduation outfit. At a distance looks like the present day guy so in the new timeline he may be their son. I think it is their son who pulls the letter out of the mail box at the end and it’s the same guy. I was wondering if that coffee shop could be theirs with the mail box out front. They did take the one from salvage back in 1991. The old man and mailbox never was explained but it is a fantasy.

Best comedic Chinese show I have seen to date. I look forward to each episode as it comes out. Love the side story as well.
