Ui-gyeom acting like yoon-ki fighting for revenge is all that bad but he's not doing it for any better reason...
Exactly! Ui-gyeom wasn't fighting bullies for the sake of justice so idk why he's acting like an innocent victim. Besides if these two were rly friends, I don't understand why Ui-gyeom doesn't care about the story behind yoon-ki's revenge.
I can see how some people wouldn't like this show but I'm rly enjoying it. The fight scenes r gritty. Similar to weak hero class, the MC doesn't immediately win the fight, he has to work for it. His character is very complex and I'm loving the way Lee Jungha portrays him, those eyes r deadly. I did not know Jungha had this side of him after seeing him in Run On and Moving.
Eui Gyeom is a character with a lot of rage and suppressed emotions that he's releases whenever he's fighting. He rly has to figure out why he's fighting before he crosses the line cuz even though he says he's different from the bullies, he rly isn't. He fights to release stress and only fights bullies to make himself feel better about it. I rly wanna see him evolve and work through his trauma instead of killing somebody.
Yungi and Eui Gyeom's "friendship" is so interesting to me cuz their more like partners in crime, they could be laughing together one second, then about to fight each other the next. Tbh I like Yungi a lot more than Eui Gyeom cuz while he wasn't upfront about it, he actually has a reason to be fighting. He's wrong for pushing Eui Gyeom to more fights knowing he is unstable(lowkey crazy) but I respect that he's doing it for his friend and continues trying to keep Eui Gyeom in check.
The reason I put "friendship" it quotes is becuz they don't talk. Eui Gyeom doesn't tell Yungi about his brother and Yungi doesn't tell him about his friend. They only hang out when their in school or fighting(Yungi literally has to beg Eui Gyeom to have a meal together). At this point, Eui Gyeom has a better friendship with Seung Jun than he does with Yungi and that's just sad
Can't wait for the last two episodes and perhaps a season 2 in the future cuz ain't no way Eui Gyeom's family situation is getting resolved in 2 episodes
No major spoiler. I really respect PBG to have the courage to play the role of Dong Ju. I can see PBG really wants…
I'm loving the choices PBG is making with his character. Like u said, Dongju is a difficult role to play and could easily be disliked by the audience, but PBG adds dimension to the character, his eyes r so expressive not to even mention the action scenes cuz he devours every time. I don't think I've ever seen PBG in a role like this before but I'm absolutely loving it.
didn't think i would enjoy this as much as I have been. a lot of kdramas have been action focused recently and I can't say I hate it. Bogum is so freaking gorgeous I can't breathe. Loving seeing Lee jung ha from Moving in this show cuz I'm watching One: High School Heroes rn and his acting is so good.
wei shao's rly pmo. he can leave her in the rain for days, get mad at her for other men admiring her, send troops to threaten her family, but manman forgives him and instead treats him with unwavering kindness. Manman makes 1 mistake and she becomes the wicked witch of the west. make it make sense
wait what role did she play in perfect match? i saw it recently but can't remember seeing her
she was yang xian's adoptive father's daughter. the girl who was dressed as a boy and kidnapped leshan just to berate her for trying to marry someone else instead of waiting for yang xian. Anyway I was so shocked to see her in the drama i was like "that's my girl from the best thing"
This entirely my opinion..to each their own..if you liked the drama good for you.Am in Ep 5 and somehow I felt…
omg THANK YOU!! like this is not anything like DOTS cuz that drama was actually good. Plus I'm so confused as to why they keep dangling sixan and ben in our face when i know they not finna end up together. this show lowkey pmo and I'm only on episode 10
