Need more polishing
This is what I thought throughout the entire series. My remarks are based on the comparison between the novel and the series. Well, first of all, I wanna emphasize that I'm not here to provide nasty feedback because I understand, and appreciate the hard work and efforts from many people who work on the series. Especially for a series that needs to time hops between different era. Therefore, like many others GL fans who supported the show, I too, faithfully seated and waiting for the series to air every week.
Well, below are my humble opinions:
1) Need more polishing because many of the scenes that reflects from the novel are not explained properly. So for those who didn't read the novel might not understand due to the lack details.
2) Should have arranged for both MC to build chemistry through workshop.
3) The last 2 chapter seems rushed and unorganized, perhaps should have added 1 or 2 more episodes in order for the series to be more refined?
Btw, I like both OST. Nice songs. Anyway, overall, I don't think the series is that bad. Practice make perfect ya, keep going 💪🏽! The next one will be much better.

Chaotic execution but it's quite addictive ❤️
Surprisingly good. Although the production is not top notch compared with many other popular production house but it has charm on its own. Also, 7 eps of 3 parts each are too short in my opinion. Not enough room to refine and give a deeper details to the storyline. Also, not enough room for the MCs and sub-cast to express the emotions to the fullest. Nevertheless, great effforts for putting the series together, look forward to the 2nd part of the series. Lastly, i felt that the camera positioning need improvement.By the way, I love the OST. Added in my Spotify playlist

Could have scored better
Well, Dream could have scored better if the production follow the flow of the original novel. Not going to pinpoint the acting because I like how Fay and May portraits the MCs. I like the OST, kept it in my playlist. As for the costume, need improvement. Imagine Dawan is a beautiful superstar, stylish and cool but the costume did not do justice to her character. Especially those oversized sunglasses, almost covering her nose.Was this review helpful to you?
Kind of strange, but I love it
Well, beside the title "US" and the characters names, nothing seems to come close or a slight resemblance to the original novel. I don't dislike it, just feels strange wondering why don't the production company just make it into an original screenplay instead. Because the altered storyline is really not bad, I like it. Having said that, I don't dislike the original novel too, in fact I reread it twice. Which is why I can't help but to compare.Anyway, great job everyone that contributed to the success of US the series. I love every part of it especially it's OST. By the way, this series has got high rewatch value, I'm sure going to watch again. Keep up the good work and look forward to more great series by Emily and Bonnie. Cheers!

Surprisingly good!
Firstly, the production company has chosen the right person to portraits Genlong and Oaei. Both MC, Grace and Oaey managed to brings the characters to life.Secondly, I like how the screen writer altered the novel.
It was adjusted beautifully without destroying it's original plot. I can feel the care given to ensure most of the details and storyline intact.
Thirdly, i appreciate the attention to the costumes, make ups, hair and locations. Love the OST, but how come there's only 1?
Lastly, this show has got high rewatch value. In fact, i write this review immediately after my 1st rewatch and certainly won't be the last time watching.
Good job，I look forward to more great series by Grace and Oaey.
