The biggest issue about this season seems more like the editing. They tried to capitalize the YJ/MK past too much, and they only showed the feud between JS and Hwi so much, and left out a lot of more natural flowing romance part. I get they need drama to get the views, but it seemed they cut a lot of important parts that people end up not seeing any chemistry in any couples.

Honestly, ep 14 dosent need to be shown cos why would they need to like either stage a break up scene or contacted HM(probably) to break up with a camera there. They could have just kept it silent and just showed pictures of MK/MS being together or like season 2 where thry did a short vlogs for Junseongho.

Also like them cutting so much of JS and SM brought so much hated to him, like i get he was not decisively choosing JS/Hwi but you can see they did call on the last night (which the whole part was cut off except SJ/Hwi calling each other, and put on youtube as a BTS......) And it does seem the both of them had talked alot and got closer as compared to what was shown in the show where they had almost no interactions.....

It feels like Season 2 had a longer / more commentary because of DAENYEOL being a youtuber and inviting the cast to do the commentary which took over the official one while there isnt any seasoned youtuber in this season

2) Nothing was said if they broke up but i have seen people saying they already broke up. Havent seen any couple post from both of them so it does seem so.

Yup, personally i liked the boyfriend alot more compared to hisman3 but at the same time it is hard to really compare them since both country has diff filming cultures and how everything was filmed (such as hisman has a higher intensity for the cast which makes it harder for a longer stay, and i think like they had to stay up all night having minimal sleep to film the interviews and behinds compared to the boyfriend). Id say for HM it would be more reliant on the cast and their decisions/reactions to each other. The editing for HM3 was really bad this time as well sadly.

I feel that instead of it being scripted, it was more of the editors mainly only wanting to feed on the dramas of YJ and MK, and the love triangle (mainly SM being unable to make a quick decisiom, and JS and Hwi's misunderstanding) and kind of forgot all the more wholesome and romantic parts of the show.

The problem i had with The Boyfriend is that 1 month stay cutting into 10 eps of 30mins-1hr, alot of things feels super disconnected and it just seems to really heavily focus on one couple which kind of loses the point of the whole group dating show.

His Man 3 just had too much bad edits its like they see a drama and they over capitalize it (such as the YJ/MH story and SM/JS/Hwi triangle which made alot more wholesole and dating parts being cut off.

Like you said, it is only a 1 week thing. I dont think anyone easily settles their feelings in 3 or 4 days. SM didnt force Hwi to only stay with him, he also had openly chose and said how he felt about JS. Hwi decided to constantly stick to SM, which there is no right or wrong. Besides they only broadcasted like around 20% of the whole time they had staying together, no one knows what interactions they had off screen, especially with how obvious the JS/SM storyline being really cut off throughout the whole season

But yeah i feel bad since SJ had made friends with people which someone could somehow just think of going into his group chat at least for gratitude. Season 3 just had too much edits squeezed into it for the dramatic effect sadly.

Am i the only one who personally finds people are over baby-ing SJ and Hwi just because they arent picked by who they like? I agree they are nice people, but viewers need to also understand u can agree they are green flags without putting down the other members.

For Hwi case, just because you are nice dosent mean the person you like would have romantic feelings for you. People blaming SM for leading Hwi on but remember they only stayed for 7 days, in which by day 4 SM has more or less started shifting his attention. Its not like SM didnt like Hwi at all but he just took time and made a choice that he feels for more. Also, between JS and Hwi, its not like Hwi wasnt going around SJ sulking and being unhappy about JS at the same time. And the big misunderstanding between them was mainly because of SJ's anonymous question, which he definitely has rights to feel attacked?

I feel bad for SJ but at the same time, just because he is a walking green flag, dosent mean that the person he likes must like him back? Previous seasons and himself should also expect a super high tension and especially a more introverted people having a harder time here and btw he signed up for it. And also like he was the one who asked the anonymous question snowballing the tension between JS/Hwi.

I dont hate any of them, but people just constantly trying to overbaby the two just feels a little too much? People watching this show need to stop thinking this is some BL drama and force their 'shipping' because they are just gays trying to find their own partner based on their own preference and what we are seeing is like only 20% of what happened in that 1 week.

I agree that people have rights to have different opinions, which is normal. And yes as much as there is a freedom of expression, if you go into comments, people are just going into their instagram posts (mainly SM/JS/YJ/HM) and sending hate message cursing them sadly ...

Personally i thought this season had too much interferrence such as extra dates and calls and stuff. Although it wasnt perfect or as comparable to season 2.

I hope people stop hating on Jaeseung and Seongmin. I do feel that SM should have told Hwi sooner but lets be real, it was a 1 week stay in the house where the tension and everything is super high all time, its not as easy to figure out everything. Like to have to go through a feeling of liking someone, and just sorting out your feelings within 4 or 5 days with all the other tensions and things isnt easy. Im sad that SM had to apologize on his post, and him and JS post have loads of hate comments as well. Also JS might look petty but if he thought that the question that SJ asked him was from Hwi it would make sense for him to put up a wall against him since it definitely felt like an attack. On side note JS and SM is so sweet together so im happy and i hope they dont get too affected.

The break up between HM and YJ feels super crazy??? Like i didnt expect it especially like couldnt he have done it in private and just let people know that it just didnt work out between them?? I cant say i agree with him but i remembered in season 2 Junseong talk with Seongho about how after the 1 week, they would all return to their own life where they might be different from how they are when they are filming. I think it might be the same case here.

MS and MH didnt give me much chemistry at the start until the last letter but the after leaving men's house part where they went on a date and officially became a couple was so cute and you can see MH really trying his best to be more open to expressing his feelings.

I like Hwi and SJ alot but personal opinion i feel the both of them just have good chemistry as friends and also like soul mates to talk to. I get people feel sorry for SJ but at the same time just because they are a nice person dosent mean everyone would have romantic feelings for them. Im sure they will find a perfect match for them
