han ting and ji xing finally understood each other and acknowledged each other’s mistakes, i genuinely hope you guys do too 🤙 i’m sick of the comments who’s still caught up with that 30 minute argument

they’re starting fresh now and they’re so cute to watch, don’t take the argument to heart because you’ll really end up missing on the explosive chemistry ⭐️

and i hope i don’t see comments seeing this is a bad drama because of the conflict ✋ this is modern realistic drama, and guess what, actual people do make mistakes irl and love can be imperfect

han ting and ji xing forgave each other, you guys should too 😭

i’ll finish watching this tomorrow to prepare myself for a good closure (LOL SO DRAMATIC)

Title As Beautiful as You Spoiler
people expect too much from ji xing.

you cannot really expect her to calm down when she’s seeing the complete opposite of what she initially planned for xingchen— which she poured everything into— happen right before her eyes, much more from the man he loved.

because in reality, she doesn’t have a grasp of how he actually feels about her. in reality, everything she said was a possibility. in reality, he could’ve just been deceiving her and using xingchen as a pawn. and considering these risks, contrary to popular belief, was actually the most rational thing she could’ve done at that moment (as someone without God’s perspective).

she made it clear from the start, she wanted xingchen to be left alone. hanhai was a trade secret, we can let that go, but then after finding out about it— and not even from him— she finds a merger plan. this just proves how little she knows him as a businessman, and when push comes to shove, she cannot be assured that han ting is a permanent friend (in reference to his words).

he did what is best for xingchen, but he did it mercilessly. and as a businessman, it was expected from him, but ji xing also has a dignity of her own. every single thing han ting did for xingchen is very well appreciated, but ji xing also made the most efforts for xingchen— and suddenly, it appears as if it’s just getting played with. you can expect her to calm down but that is if she was the goddess of kindness.

but she knows it herself better than anyone that the fact should be acknowledged: it was what’s best for xingchen, just like how everything was laid out in ep32. this would open more opportunities for her to expand her plans for xingchen, but at this point, hanhai-xingchen could very much operate without her. and enough damage has been done: it’s not acceptable to critique her for choosing her peace of mind because at the end of the day, she did her part with xingchen and that’s her only responsibility.

i don’t think the breakup was the biggest puzzle piece in key for their growth, rather, it was their argument. they needed to burst those emotions, they needed to speak on their level differences in terms of handling things, they needed to make peace with their contrast because if they didn’t do it then, it would’ve been much worse in the long run. both parties had their grounds to stand, they both had things to protect and prioritize, and it wasn’t the same for the both of them. it needed to be let out in those, say, 30 minutes, because they still had to compose themselves and be logical in the next steps.

and ji xing had a right to make the choice of leaving. that argument was a denouement for her because xingchen was all that she had and at that point, she really wasn’t sure who han ting is. after completing her responsibilities, it would barely affect hanhai-xingchen if she stayed or left— the only thing at stake was her ideas.

it’s not childish of her, it devastated her and she had to heal from it— it’s very realistic. realistically, it’s what a woman with a backbone would do. what han yuan said was a hard pill to swallow, it wouldn’t have made sense for ji xing to stay because suddenly, they were polar opposites and if we take han ting’s perspective on love in that situation, then the love is simply not pure anymore.

i’ve actually been seeing much better analysis on douyin, it’s good to see perspectives from every single angle.
