I agree with you—her acting in this drama feels very natural and endearing. Since it's a romcom, I don't expect her performance to be as intense as the characters in 'Penthouse' or 'RWTMR.' For me she is actually doing a great job of portraying the character as required by the role in this drama.

I really liked the friendship between Hong Ju and Hye Ji, especially when they were at the beach in Ep 5. During their conversation, Hong Ju reveals her fear of entering a relationship due to past trauma from people leaving her behind. I was particularly struck by Hye Ji's response when Hong Ju asked, "Aren’t you afraid? You might lose everything, including your good relationship with him, the good memories, and even him."
Hye Ji replied, "I AM AFRAID, BUT I SHOULD TRY DESPITE EVERYTHING."
It seems Hong Ju asked this because she was contemplating opening her heart to Hu Yeong, as the conversation was recalled while she was looking at him during dinner.
