My thought and analysis of the characters so far (episode 1-3)

Khanin is just a chesse piece in the king court, he see him more as the tool to secure his son ascending to the throne therefor securing his family legacy and reign over Emmaly, I guess this is the reason why the four families aren’t blood related like in the book. Meeting his grandson for the first time was a show of power in front of the other families, he didn’t even bother to let him meet his father before introducing them in front of everyone. staging Thatdanai death was a big part of his plan to control khanin even before he arrived to Emmaly and said he isn’t welling to participate in the competition. he don’t care about khanin feeling and what he wants, he only want to use him to keep his family reign over Emmaly.
BTW Nunew acting has significantly improved since cutie pie, I really admire his passion and dedication to be a better actor and improve himself, cause trust me many who reach his level of popularity won’t care to put much effort since they are already popular with a huge loyal fanbase.


Charan I’m glad that he wasn’t portrayed as the blindly loyal bodyguard, he obey the king order in front of him, yet his Conscience and moral won’t allow him to ignore how the king made him lie to Charan, asking his friend to searching for Thatdanai is really brave and might lead to his death if the king knew.
we still haven’t seen much about Charan beyond him as a bodyguard. I see many criticizing his acting, but what I’m seeing is him acting according to the role. he have to keep a poker face but in some scene I can see his emotions through his eyes like when it was raining and he remembered his mother ( ep2) and how it’s difficult for him to lie to khanin about his grandfather death (ep3)


Ava and Ramil, both born as royal hiers but the way the were raised differently have a huge impact on their personality, let’s start with Ava

Ava was raised by a loving father who give her the freedom which came from her being a women therefor overlooked as a potential hire due to Emmaly prejudice and misogyny. she studies aboard which help into making her the strong, confident, independent women she is today. she was the only one who actually smiled at khanin.

Ramil was raised as the son of the next king, his father feed him arrogance and supremacy since he was very young, he felt that he is entitled to many thing as the son of the future king, Ramil didn’t talk much last episode but he said it all through his eyes and face expressions ( shock, fear, jealousy and disdain). I’m really impressed with jimmy’s acting and I can’t wait to see more of him as his story with paytai unfolds.

Yeah and the inhaler in episode 2 was very obvious advertisement misplacement like what train will have a trolly with inhealer, trolleys either in plane or train are used to offer food, snacks and beverages. Hopefully they will continue doing this separate clips for sponsors

I love how they released a separate clip for the sponser this episode, this is what I suggested the first episode, keep the constructive criticism and give them ideas and solutions instead of just being negative and hateful

The script isn’t an excuse, he still can show and deliver his emotions through his eyes but he only have been giving this poker face since last episode, same face after hearing his son is alive, same face after seeing his son for the first time. it just a shame because the series is fantastic but he is running these moment that supposed to be heartwarming and emotional with his cold expressions

Hell yeah. Finally someone talking about the father I have been bothered by his expressions since last episode, trust me it have nothing to do with the plot he isn’t shady character at all. He clearly can’t act. Like look at jimmy he didn’t have much to say this episode but his eyes and expressions says it all.

This is ZeeNuNew series they are the main leads,
Jimmyohm are secondary couple, so keep in mind that their scene together won’t be more than 5 minutes per-episode. If you want to get more jimmyohm work then you need to hype them through social media follow all their accounts, like and repost their posts, keep talking about them. If the fandom becomes bigger they will get more opportunities with more screen time after this series.

I doubt this person have been waiting for TNP all these years. No one would drop a non-action series because they didn’t like the fighting scenes. this is more of a romance- drama series.jealous non- ZN and non-DMD boys fans are working hard to find any reason to bash the series and prevents other people from watching it.

I’m still wondering why in the series Ramil and Ava aren’t cousins like in the book ( Ramil, Ava and khanin are distance cousins in the book

I love how they stay very close to the book, the first episode covers chapters 1-9, the changes are very small like in scene length or wording which is expected, the biggest change and it’s actually my favorite, they delyaed the reveal about khanin identity, in the book Khanin find out the truth when he entered the house and heared charan talking to his father, it was also the first time he meet him. I like the series version more it give the viewer time to see khanin live as an ordinary young man VS how the truth changed his life and affected him emotionally. Based on the trailer of ep2, this episode will continue to closely follow the book events ( I’m sure there will be time in upcoming episodes when they will start to shift away from the book ) there is this chapter before charan and khanin come to Emmaly that introduce the four prince in a meeting with the king and a scene for Ramil, Ava and Paytai. I wander if they will keep it the same or change it, I really want them to introduce the charecters to the viewers before they meet khanin so people won’t have a bad first impression on Ramil based on the way he treats khanin.

I will talk about the difference between the book and the series in regarding first episode and what I expect for second episode. if you don’t want spoiler don’t read the comment below

Most of them are either hateres or envious people so don’t mind them and let not give them attention. mature and actual viewers will rate the series after they finish watching it. Sadly I don’t think we can rate every episode like imbd, so most people are waiting for the whole series to give their ratings.

There is no much major changes since the pilot In regarding TNP. the story is still the same even some of the locations are still the same. my problem with magic lover is the plot (story) which in my opinion need more development to be worthy of having six leads. This project is still under-development since it’s DMD orginal idea according to AOF tweets after the lineup, so there is a chance for developing the plot and story and giving it more depth.

Message for DMD crew

- Be patient and trust your wonderful and hard work, more good reviews and hype will come, I believe 90% who watch the first episode are ZN fans and big BL fans who watch any new show, many people are waiting for more episodes to start watching the show ( I saw many people saying they will wait for certain amount of episodes to be relased before they start watching)

- I suggest after the third episode you start to promot other couples in the show, I read the book and my favorite couple are Ramilpaytai( there story it’s unique and many viewers will be excited to know more). Promoting other couples will bring more and new viewers. the WL couple will also bring new type of viewes who might watch only for them but of course they will end up liking the series.

Seeing all these comments full of love and admirearion really warms my heart. The wait was really worth it.
I’m not surprised at all. I was expecting this top notch level, first episode is 9/10 to me, everything was perfect from the cinematography, the acting, and I’m in love with background music. I like how they showcase the trust issues in this country when the king was talking with riddles to charan about Nin, it’s seems like a normal conversation but only both of them know the hidden meaning behind it. I like charan and nin first encounter and how he was irritated by him for criticizing his fencing techniques, I love how they showcase Nin as smart, brave and confident man. they lost one star though because of some small stuff that irritates me, the friend, his accent is terrible, like there are many half Thai actors, they could at least casted perth for this role, glad we won’t see him again. The so obvious in your face advertisement for the snack, it really made me cringe,they need to be subtle about it, if it’s not fit the scene they don’t need to include it. I suggest theu include extra scenes with ZN at the end of every episode as an advertisement to the sponseres ( I remember a BL series were they used to do this- love by chance if I’m not mistaken). I noticed that they cut the scene when Nin was wearing the crown at the party it was in the trailer but not the episode, I wish they won’t cut scenes and give us as much as possible or at least relase a longer version of each episode. Can’t wait for next episode.

Less than 24 hours, after 3 years we will finally see the series. I’m definitely excited for ep 1, but im more anticipating episode 2 and 3. They will set the tone for the rest of the series.

I’m going to be honest. This project isn’t in the level or worth to have 3 main couples who are popular ( I’m hoping for even more popularity after TNP & khemjirah airing) When you want to make a project for 3 main couples almost 6 main characters then it need to be something worth it. when I was watching the lineup I thought magic lover was actually a movie project and not a series. Why I’m just talking now after months of the pilot, I saw that many people like it so
I didn’t want to be the one with negative opinion and kill people enthusiasm. But after watching the next prince documentary and how much money and passion they put into this project and how everyone is proud of it, Ok this happened because it’s ZN project they know that this investment and every penny will be worth it. They only can do something that big if they can have more than two leads, well then I remembered magic lover and start really thinking how they could’ve turned this into something big yet they just give them three predictable storylines. they could instead have a fantasy series with werewolves, warlocks, fairies. Or even a modern series about some complicated characters Serial killer detective , psychopath Doctor, Narcissist president. Or a series about a big mafia organization. magic lover seems like a last minute project, Aof was afraid of some fandoms rage to why their actors don’t have a project , so he gathered these three couples and his writing team and they come up with this idea. I won’t be surprised if everything was planned and shoot in 1 or 2 weeks. well I hope they reconsider this project, either improve it and give us something worthy of these three couples, or just call it off, Thomas Kong already have more interesting upcoming project, they can search for other good novels to turn into two series for jimmyohm and Kengnampgin

That’s what I will do as well after all I have been waiting 3 years for ZN and TNP and 1 year for Jimmyohm as well. But I suggested this after noticing many people being skeptical about the show
