this drama has been rumored since 2023, and it's finally happening

C-drama fans can be a bit like a cult and often attack any opposing opinions, so I’m afraid to write this review. I had high expectations because of the comment section, but I was truly disappointed with the way the drama was handled. It felt very forced. Like some people in the comments said, I felt like I was watching Better Days in every single episode. It was just too much and didn’t feel realistic. I know that when C-drama viewers see screaming, blood, and toxic parents, they tend to call it ‘realistic,’ but this drama isn’t as realistic as people in the comments claim. It’s definitely not a bad drama, but I was kind of disappointed, mostly because people raised my expectations.

there a thousand of new actors are willing to get this drama for 2nd billing if actor and his fanbase dont want it then give it to other people who need to chances?

I love your opinions, but they sound a bit idealistic. This is China, and an entertainment ban could mean having to move to countries like Japan or Taiwan to continue your career. No one would want to go against China. I have no doubt the actors love this drama because their love feels so pure. That’s why I’m so obsessed with it. But I would definitely understand if they choose themselves and their future.

I think even the actors might not want the rest of the episodes to be released if the drama is blacklisted in China. They’ve already become huge in China. No matter if the rest of the drama airs or not, they will still remain popular. So they probably don’t want to take the risk. This is just my opinion. If you have a better theory, let’s talk about it. I’ve been feeling really unhappy lately because this drama helped me get out of my drama slump.

why would they change cast with someone else when winwin did a perfect job? go pick up a grown ass woman then?

from i get it situ know him so long, shen is the one who meet with him for 3 years. and i think 3 years are enough to built some relationship between each other but i dropped the drama so i will never know the real answer lol.

agree with you.. i'm also at 12 but i dropped the drama. usually, i hate the spoilers but if the comment section is real, there's no need to keep up with this drama

some people are ignoring the fact that he is a rapist in the novel just because he gives some obsessive bromance scenes, i agree with you about most of the parts except the well-written part, he is definitely an interesting character. i wish the actor didn't play it so cartoonish so people could see the complex side of the character more.
