Well, it was kind of a reimagined ending. Not all remakes of the play end in both of them dying. This one had two males leads even before they had to find replacements. They deviated from the original

so I watched episode 1 and put it on hold to wait for all episodes to air. now that I’ve read these comments I think I’ll just save myself the mental distress and not even watch it anymore.
