I feel like Shen Wenlang suffered a lot after Gao Tu left him. He went through mating syndrome, and on top of that, his father broke his ribs and subjected him to even more torture, as described in the novel. It’s not like it’s easy for SWL to live without Gao Tu. But with only 3 episodes left, how are we supposed to see proper character development for Shen Wenlang?
