Within the halls of Golden Feather Academy, wealthy stepsiblings Tanya and Leo, bound by family but not blood, hold court as the institution's dual reigning icons of popularity. As the holiday break ends, the queenly Tanya sets her sights on the newly elected Student Council President, Logic—son of the nation's president. At the grand ball, her calculated allure meets only his icy dismissal. Stung and pride inflamed, she makes a reckless wager with her notorious playboy stepbrother, Leo, who has just slipped into her bedchamber under cover of night: if Leo can seduce and shatter the seemingly incorruptible, iron-willed heterosexual scholar Logic within one month—turning his arrogance to ashes and his reputation to ruin—she will grant him the one thing he's craved for years: a night in her bed. The libertine Leo, who believes his charm can conquer anyone except the elusive Tanya, acknowledges the formidable challenge of making Logic fall in love. Yet, brimming with audacious confidence, he accepts, plunging them all into a twisted game of seduction and vengeance. However, as the month draws to a close, a chilling realization dawns on Tanya: not only has she been denied the sweet venom of revenge against Logic, but she may have irrevocably lost the mercurial, ever-devoted Leo—the brother whose affections she'd always held in a delicate, dangerous dance of veiled dominance—to the very heart he was supposed to destroy. Reviews
High Quality Vertical - Best Yet
I saw this being heavily promo'd on social media just yesterday.. to my surprise it was available, in full, as soon as I woke up this morning! This review will contain some minor spoilers.
First of all, we can finally stop calling Winner (Logic) "My Stand In guy" after seeing him in a lead role here in Golden Feathers. His acting in this is great, and his chemistry with Chris (Leo) is fire. Chris also did a fine job with the acting. The sister, Tanya, was an unlikable character, so she delivered on that front. Janine played a small role, and added a bit of angst to the overall plot.
The story is a classic "I'll seduce him then break his heart when he falls for me" trope. However, after their first kiss (they kiss quite a bit for a vertical, and have sex at least twice) there was no way Leo was going to be able to let go of Logic.
Because it's a vertical short, the story moves along nice & quick. Very little to no slow points. It took me a few hours to finish, but that's only because Saturday is a heavy BL day right now, so I paused to watch my weeklies. When those were done, I finished this off in one sitting.
The music has a lot of BG tracks we've heard before, but I'm not mad at it. There was a sense of familiarity that this is a WeTV production. Most of the transitions between episodes were smooth. The overall quality of the film work and post was really clean. You can tell they put money into this - compared to other verticals it felt like watching a regular drama in vertical format.
Overall, I highly recommend Golden Feathers. It checked all my boxes for a vertical, but surpassed my expectations in almost every way. Now let's get #WinnerChris their own full series pronto!

"Winner"Tanatat Kunaneksin was the only reason I watched the series.
I watched the series on the Tencent (WeTV). I'm a VIP member and I still had to pay extra to watch the series. I'll let you decide if the series is worth the extra fee. This is my first vertical series. I watched it because "Winner" was a lead actor in the series.
The storyline was simple and straightforward. The writing was nothing special.
I would like to see them in a better written story.
The acting was decent but not great by any standard. The M/M leads had good on screen chemistry,
There were cute moments, lots of kissing scenes, and 2 NC scenes. The kissing scenes and playful banter between the leads wws the best part of the series.
The OST had several familiar songs from other BL stories.
