High Quality Vertical - Best Yet
I saw this being heavily promo'd on social media just yesterday.. to my surprise it was available, in full, as soon as I woke up this morning!This review will contain some minor spoilers.
First of all, we can finally stop calling Winner (Logic) "My Stand In guy" after seeing him in a lead role here in Golden Feathers. His acting in this is great, and his chemistry with Chris (Leo) is fire. Chris also did a fine job with the acting. The sister, Tanya, was an unlikable character, so she delivered on that front. Janine played a small role, and added a bit of angst to the overall plot.
The story is a classic "I'll seduce him then break his heart when he falls for me" trope. However, after their first kiss (they kiss quite a bit for a vertical, and have sex at least twice) there was no way Leo was going to be able to let go of Logic.
Because it's a vertical short, the story moves along nice & quick. Very little to no slow points. It took me a few hours to finish, but that's only because Saturday is a heavy BL day right now, so I paused to watch my weeklies. When those were done, I finished this off in one sitting.
The music has a lot of BG tracks we've heard before, but I'm not mad at it. There was a sense of familiarity that this is a WeTV production. Most of the transitions between episodes were smooth. The overall quality of the film work and post was really clean. You can tell they put money into this - compared to other verticals it felt like watching a regular drama in vertical format.
Overall, I highly recommend Golden Feathers. It checked all my boxes for a vertical, but surpassed my expectations in almost every way. Now let's get #WinnerChris their own full series pronto!

A Beautiful Mess with No Logic Yet Addictively Fun
This series is honestly one of the most plotless, dumb, weird, and cringe BLs I’ve ever seen, yet somehow, I can’t stop watching it. The irony of the main lead being named Logic when the show itself has absolutely no logic is hilarious. Logic is the son of the Prime Minister, and together with Leo, they fight the Prince for the dumbest reasons imaginable.The action scenes are terrible, and the plot makes zero sense. For example, right after a fight, Logic and Leo meet a random girl and ask to borrow her motorbike. Her response? “Sure, because you’re handsome.” She just gave two random strangers her keys , they didn’t even exchange contact details, so how is she going to get her bike back? This is just one example of how stupid the plot is, lol.
Still, despite all the nonsense, I can’t look away. Winner and Chris have amazing chemistry, and that’s honestly the only reason I’m still watching. This show is a complete mess, but a strangely entertaining one.

That's all I have to say, it's one of the crappiest BLs I have watched ever. But seeing other reviews and the ratings, most girls like this fantasy world, but I'm not a girl. 🤣 I have no understanding why someone can like this at all. So, I'm very sorry, but this is trash which is not good in any way even when the production quality is good.

Horrible
Let me start by saying this is one of the worst BLs I've ever seen. The acting is terrible The storyline has no flow and there's lack of chemistry between almost all the characters. There's no real growth there's no point to the story I feel like I was watching a BL version of cruel intentions. The sister was the worst character which mean just no signs. People are lying to themselves when they say this was a good serious. The series is only laughable at every point It was a waste of my time.Was this review helpful to you?
Visually Pleasing Vertical Series
Winner and Chris were an unexpected pairing but it worked well. Leo had one job, to get revenge for stepsister Tanya by getting Logic to fall for Leo and then dump him. The pay off... Leo gets to be with stepsister Tanya. This vertical series was visually pleasing to watch. I was also very excited to see Joanine in the series as well. The story kept you engaged all the way through. The chemistry was amazing and they did not disappoint with the intimate scenes. Overall: reminded me of the movie Cruel Intentions. 52 very short episodes (around 2 minutes each). Stupid bl version of Cruel Intentions which i enjoyed little bit
I never liked vertical series much. Till today i have watched only 3, too of them are Hollywood vertical series. If they want to make bl version of Cruel Intentions then could have done properly. Idk about others but i enjoyed the series coz of chris even though this series is very stupid. Too short to explore whole movie. Cruel Intentions has gain clut classic status so this could be on the level of that had this series in full format. Sometimes i felt wtf is going around. Why does people make vertical series? I don't like manipulation much thats why i left ABO desire after second episode. Whoever wrote this series he need to join literature class for proper writing . And Zero chemistry. Messy shorts
I really don't understand the new hype of making shorts, most of them turn out quite messy because of the short episodes.Same here, so many cut of scene's...
The visuals were ok, music was ok. The story was not very special but i liked the plot twist.
The acting was mediocre, the chemistry was there and the kisses were not bad.
Worth to watch?...hmm i'm in the middle. It was not a bad watch, but not great eather.

Be for real what even was this? I am gonna try really hard to say good things about this show. Starting off I would give it a 6 out of 10 and that's being generous. I am gonna say what I liked and what I didnt like and then a wrap-up. Yay…What I liked, absolutely fucking nothing besides Winner’s sexy ass and him being shirtless. He is genuinely such eye candy and a pleasure to see every time he comes on screen. Also, the other guy grew on me and he was also eye candy. Their sex scenes. The one at the start I ate all the way up. And the episode 47 left-field sex scene, immaculate. Next up their chemistry. I thought it was actually really good and I felt like I was interrupting something lmao. I think it also has to do with them being sexy, but eh. Also, the dynamic they had in the show. If you read my reviews you know I HATE power dynamics but theirs was lowkey really good and had me dead and spread. I also liked the slaps and I thought they were very funny. The bet was interesting as well but I lost the point after the first couple of episodes. And finally, the uniforms were so cute, and the acting. The actors did a good job and it is a SHAME they were just given a miserable plot.
What I didn’t like, every fucking thing. I paid for this shit for the love of the game. I have so many regrets. The weird incestual relationship between Tonya and Leo was so fucking weird. I’m like what the fuck are we doing? He sees her as like his God and that’s so fucking weird. I don’t know what they were smoking making this fucking show but they need to pass that shit cause what the fuck did I just watch? Another thing I didn’t like was that miserable fucking plot. Why did it jump around so much? Like we tried to make so many things stick, but we only have like an hour like why do we do that? The random fucking scissors. Like if you don’t snatch that shit out of her hand, bro. Why did we keep jumping around to different places holy fuck can we pick one place and stay there? What the fuck? Went to damn near 52 places in the 52 episodes bro. The random ass irrelevant family lore like I wanna see THESE PEOPLE BENT OVER not trauma dumping. Another thing I didn’t like was the background with the kids AIN'T NOBODY GIVE A DAMN. Also, they needed more character work. WE NEED TO STOP GOING TO PARTIES AND WORK ON CHARACTERS. And the student body president bullshit why did we even make that part of a plot like what the fuck. And why does he have bodyguards if he's the Prime Minister's son like what? My final thing is the random ass super mega happy ending like why did we have guns? I’m so confused.
And yeah. Don’t watch this shit but if you’re going to watch it for Winner because he’s really really hot. Okay bye!

Winner and Tyler make a cute partnership and I can't wait for their next story. I know all the shorts are a bit cliché and that is what most forget - this is a short- everything is over dramatic etc and others writing their opinions should keep that in mind.

Best Short Drama Yet
I'm still baffled by how much I enjoyed watching this drama.The chemistry between the male couple is sizzling and fun to watch. The story has some (random lol) suprises as well, that I didn't see coming at all, but is captivating enough that I binged it in one go.
The only strange aspect is the relationship between one of the male leads and his stepsister... which doesn't help making her more likeable.
Regardless of that, I will be rewatching this unexpected gem and do think it's worth a look for others.
