I see. I can think at first it can't be easy to see, but I realised couple of days ago that Song Wei Long's acting as Lu Sen is more subtle. The main goal of an actor is to convery through body language and voice modulation, emotions what the character feels, express and hide. I felt like that Lu Sen is emotionnally intelligent, he manages and controls his emotions. So there is no outburst of negative emotions, he is not an angry or immature character at all. On the contrary, Lu Sen's disapointment, frustration at not being recognized by Xu Guang, his flirtations, yearing for XuGuang ( his happiness were shown by the actor. And from trailers of laters eps, you can see the character showing his love. So for me, he is doing a good job.
in the novel, there is no story line about NXG's father get rid his first love and her daughter, even her daughter…
Thank you. That's interesting to see that Gu Man wanted to develop more that aspect of Xi Guang's life in the drama, that she didn't do in the novel. Something Xi Guang doesn't share or discuss with anyone. If she chose to show the mistress' true face to viewers and of the girl, then I guess, we can expect more of them. She is using her own intelligence and skills to growth. As for Lu Sen, he took in account that the cafeteria's food wasn't appreciated and offered a fair way to select a new food provider. It's thoughtful leadership. and I enjoyed their sweet food date and Lu Sen's behavior. Xi Guang's attitude a well, stepping towards moving on.
I agree with fans who said Lu Sen has a great communications skills and express with emotionaly. He is also mature and honest, he apologized. I enjoyed both eps 12 & 13. As for Xi Guang, She seeing the 2nd male leads true face. But acknowledging how good Lu Sen is to her. I loved when Lu Sen asked her opinion what to do with the unused plot of land, her idea was great. And took it in account.
I also loved how Yu Sen teased her in ep 11 as being her boss (his wife) and then not having time to tease him when he will get marry = she will be the bride. Rememberig the precise day and time he fell in love with her!
Both eps 10 & 11 are great. There is such a contrast between Xigua's toxic college friends and their behavior and YuSen's friends' respectful and supportive behavior. I'm glad Xigua's somehow lost touch with them. Her work friends are so much better. I enjoyed YuSen and Xigua's flirt and sort of date time. He is supportive of her. I'm liking that the 1st male lead is such a good and kind guy. SONG WEI LONG and ZHAO JIN MAI are great!! I need another drama with them! 2ND male lead's behavior a real problem, is not making it clear for Rong and XIgua what he feels for both. Sick of toxic male lead.
