I've been trying to not watch the last episode because I know I would be a crying mess. Damn, IU you done did it again to me. first, scarlet heart, then my mister, then this.
This is probably my favorite kdrama ever.
Throughout the kdrama, I always find myself hating some Geum-myeong's actions/reactions to her parents, most probably because I also see myself so much in her. I relate in a lot of ways. The frustration of being born poor, missing so many opportunities because of not having enough money, seeing my parents struggle to make ends meet, being annoyed of all the sacrifices my parents make just to be able to provide and give what we need when all i want is for them to not suffer, being very grateful of what they do but can't seem to put it in words.
It's crazy how they perfectly showed reality. the life of being a parent and a child, and everything in-between.
This drama has my whole heart. It hits too close to home.
