Why Does Mi-do Think She Has the Right to Tell Ho to Meet Soo-ah?

Mi-do is the one who crossed the line first. She developed feelings for Tae-seung, kissed him while still committed to Ho, and hid the truth. Ho only gave up after discovering her betrayal.

Now, in the Episode 8 preview, when Ho tells Mi-do to meet Tae-seung, she responds by telling him to meet Soo-ah, too. But why? Why should Ho's next relationship become her decision?

There is a huge difference between these two situations. Tae-seung and Ho both have feelings for Mi-do, creating a love triangle. But Soo-ah is the one who loves Ho; Ho has not necessarily developed romantic feelings for her. Her feelings alone don't mean he must accept her.

Ho telling Mi-do to meet Tae-seung is his own decision to let her go. He is hurt, betrayed, and finally choosing to stop holding on to someone who has feelings for another man. He is not asking Mi-do to decide his future.

Mi-do, however, has no right to push Ho towards Soo-ah just to make their situations look equal. She chose Tae-seung, and she must accept that Ho is free to make his own choices, too.

And most importantly, don't turn Ho into a cheater just to make Mi-do's actions look justified. If Ho develops genuine feelings for Soo-ah after his relationship with Mi-do has ended, that is his choice. He does not owe Mi-do lifelong loneliness to prove that he once loved her.

Mi-do has the right to choose Tae-seung. Ho has the right to choose Soo-ah, someone else, or nobody at all. Whether he moves on with Soo-ah is entirely his decision.

A woman having feelings for a man doesn't mean he is obligated to love her. And a woman who betrayed her partner has no right to dictate whom he should love next. Let Ho choose his own happiness for once!
