How could his disease have to do with not showing his face? I don't understand. He had a rare disease, he survived from the major life-threatening operation already. He woke up and he is alive. In my opinion, Mu Yao and Fuyi also exists in real life. Mu Yao might be Fu Zhou's cousin sister or step-sister he got from one of his parents' remarriage. Fuyi might be her boyfriend who is caring. Even Ruoshi might exist in real life as Fu Zhou's half-brother.
