Minghao never disappoints! I love these kinds of dramas; it hooked me from the first episode. So far, I love the interactions and chemistry between Hong Ye and Xiao Yao.
I dropped This drama at ep Ep 4 because am just fucking confused
Yes, it was a good decision, but it's not a drama that's really worth watching. Honestly, I still don't understand how the main characters fell in love; it all happened too fast at the beginning. The plot had potential because of the whole evil cult subplot, but they completely forget about it until almost the end of the drama.
I hope I'm not the only one who ended up confused and with a bad taste in my mouth after this finale... To be…
And lastly, is it just me, or are the last few episodes edited in a strange way? It's like scenes are missing or cut out, and everything happens too fast.
I hope I'm not the only one who ended up confused and with a bad taste in my mouth after this finale... To be…
Furthermore, of all the deaths Ren has had in his dramas, this was the worst... how to describe it? Very bland, boring, insignificant, pointless, lacking any emotion. And to top it all off, in my opinion, I didn't feel that the leads had great chemistry. Ren's dramas aren't known for having a lot of romance, but at least he usually has more chemistry with his leads.
I hope I'm not the only one who ended up confused and with a bad taste in my mouth after this finale... To be honest, I watched the last 10 episodes in the background or at 3x speed because so many scenes were boring or pointless. It's a shame because I really like Ren's dramas, and this one started off really well.
He has 19 aired dramas and only 4 dramas where he died (Autumn Cicada, One & Only, Love of Nirvana & Love…
He has other dramas where he also dies but comes back to life or simply has a sad ending (Burning Flames, The Demon Hunter's Romance, etc.). There are very few of his dramas with a truly happy ending. But I like those kinds of stories 😅
The Journey of Legend tampoco me super encantó, pero definitivamente fue mejor que Sword and Beloved.
I thought Red Moon Pact was bad, but in the end, this one surpassed it. It's a shame, because it was one of my most anticipated dramas of the year and I had very high expectations, but it became one of the dramas that has disappointed me the most this year.
On the other hand, much of this drama didn't make sense to me, but the ending in particular confused me. I don't remember much about Red Moon Pact, but I understand it takes place at the same time as Sword and Beloved, and weren't Dongfang Yuechu and Tushan Honghong the ones who defeated/destroyed the Black Fox?
I won't give any spoilers, I'll just say that every tear shed was worth it. 🥹❤️🩹
My heart still hasn't recovered from Fangs of Fortune, so thank you Hou MingHao for such a wonderful drama. I hope his other upcoming dramas air soon. 💜
I decided to watch this drama because of Cheng Lei. I really liked his arc and I would have loved for the whole drama to be about Cheng Ao and Lin Si Yun. They still had a lot to tell. But anyway, I finished episode 11 and I don't know if it's worth continuing watching. Are the other two arcs just as good or not?
