10/10 definitely recommend this drama
"Thirty-Nine" is a beautiful and emotional series that explores friendship, love, grief, and the deep bonds of chosen family. The chemistry between the female leads is undeniable, and they truly gave heartfelt, powerful performances. My only critique is that I wish we had more of Joo-Hee—such an underrated character who deserved more screen time. I'd definitely rewatch, though I’m not sure my tear ducts would survive it. Also, the synopsis basically reveals the main plot twist, so I’m surprised by viewers saying the story wasn’t what they expected.Was this review helpful to you?
