Oh please, they are perfect for each other. Fml is indeed a kind person, she just shows it a little bit differently - not ruining her ex's marriage, the thing with a dress, not wanting to be a burden, etc. She is simply rougher around the edges compared to the male lead, probably has more of a spine too. Not that he cares too much about her habits or personality - it is just a part-time job for him. For her as well, as I can't imagine that at this point in the story she would want someone like that as her husband, as he would remind her of her mom, the abandonment and her 'lack of intrest'. But, as the time goes I bet she will let her guard down, or soften a little, and quit smoking later on, as she gets to know him. Sadly, in kdramad the fml always looses her personality once she gets with the guy ;-;
