I know how easy it is for Koreans to get plastic surgery done but some characters really looked different for season 2. I started watching Season 1 yesterday and I endured the first 2 episodes and continued watching because of Seo Do Eon whom I recognize from a BL series.
Wth! The story is perfect the way it is, every story is different and i for one love that they're not jumping…
I didn't say the story is bad. I made it clear that the narration style is not good for TV. We have completed ep 1 and 2 and the main couple had no interaction at all.
Iβd say there was definitely a slight BL vibe right from the start as Sun and Kong were clearly a thing, so…
The narration style is too linear for a series. It doesn't build anything and hyping it with a trailer of the next episode without actually closing an episode with a cliffhanger is pretty lazy writing style.
For a series to be anticipated every week, your closing scene must have a conflict or a revelation or some thing that will hook the viewers. This series failed in that as if they are just learning how to write for Television for the first time. I base my comments on my passion for watching series and I also majored in TV back in college. π€·π»ββοΈ
I understand that the show is trying to establish context, character, and motivation for the main characters but to wait until episode 3 just for the main couple to cross each other's path was a very long wait. The writer/director could have started to show some scenes where the main couple are already interacting and inject some memories and past experiences to build the storyline. I find this type of narration to be boring and not good for a series. Without looking at any promo materials or pictures of this show, I will have NO idea of the genre of this show. I hope the BL aspect of this show will start strong at ep 3 because this is starting to bore me now. π€·π»ββοΈ
This can't have lower ratings than Heesu of Class 2. This show has a lot more in terms of production value, story, and chemistry. I am enjoying episode 1 as I write this comment. KENTA'S CHEST will heal all of my anxieties. π
Something's Not Right and that's the WRITER and the DIRECTOR. π
The characters must be established not only with personality but also with Consistency and Motivation. I feel that the characters are not acting as young boys but for me, they both portray as girls that are tiptoeing around each other.
I enjoy the actors. They are all cute and interesting but the story really can still be improved.
I love it. There are some people complaining about the poor screen time that Hee Su and Seung Won display in the…
If this is not BL, then the show is terrible for any other genre. If I want to watch straight couples falling in love, this is not going to be a top of mind recommendation. π€¦π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈ
but it's already past the halfway point π₯²π₯² there's only two episodes left if you exclude tomorrow's episode
I will still prefer this BL than a series that pretended to be a BL by using the Main Character's name as part of the title but it turned out that the BL couple are just side characters of a straight couple that explored a tennis career and a music career. ππ€·π»ββοΈ
It's too early to judge this series based on the released episodes. The continuous tug of war of emotions is driving me crazy. I am enjoying the indesiciveness of the character and I can feel the immaturity. It brings you back to those times where you thought you completely know yourself but then again, you will contradict your own words. I may lack the experience in criticizing a BL series but I find it unfair that this series is getting some hate. Let us all wait for it to complete. Let's ride in to the foolishness of the characters or probably the production's stupidity in delivering the plot. For now, let us choose to enjoy and rate it once completed. βΊοΈ
We have to make ourselves loud and clear that they should not masquerade a straight drama with BL couples as frontrunners. The show was a complete betrayal. I waited for all the 10 episodes to be released and ignored most of the comments here so I can be objective but oh my God, this series failed in every aspect. I can't even believe that I have to endure Heesu's sister and the latters love problems. I had to sit and stare while Chanyoung was fighting for his dream to be a tennis player. I had to cringe for Ji Yu's music career. I was really hoping that they will reserve the last 3 episodes for Heesu and Seungwon.
Homophobic directors and producers should be punished for taking advantage of the BL fans. Stop BL Baiting us. We can watch straight dramas if we want but don't shove it down our throats especially when what you have produced is a terrible show!
We need the main couple to have a show of their own. There's no justice for the main couple because it was overpowered by other relationships presented in the story. Even Heesu's sister and the latter's boyfriend took a chunk of air time for the last few episodes. I know that the show was supposed to be a slow burn but it missed a lot of critical moments for Heesu and Seung Won. Take note that the title of the show includes the main lead's name and he should have been given enough time to process his emotions and develop feelings for Seungwon. This was so terribly done.
Are people complaining? I haven't read comments further down, and I didn't really care in the show because Lu…
We all know that this could happen in reality but it is something that should NOT be romanticized. Having consexual s3x with a minor is still statutory Rap3 for most countries and that makes the other BL fans uncomfortable watching. Just because it reflects the reality, doesn't mean that we have to promote it. Make sense?
The main couple is giving me predatory / grooming vibes but I don't mind because in the gay reality, this is a common thing. Am I in favor? Definitely NOT. Am I enjoying it? Definitely Yes. I had a similar experience where my partner and I have a 20 year age gap. I was 19 back in 2007 and he was 39. I was a college student and he was a former professor from our University that moved to another uni. We are still together today.
Reading comprehension is important.
