the kiss scene in the bathroom, they were both wearing white as if to signify that Juwon's love for Dongha is pure, and he's not doing it for his blood. Also it's interesting how Dongha's later on often wears red clothes... i wonder if it's accidental or if it actually has a meaning
i'm on ep6 and dayum, who thought it would end up being such a nice watch! It gave me butterflies for the sweet scenes and at the same time also left a bittersweet feel because it explored the theme of impossible love in multiple ways. The sound effects elevate the already good scenes, finally a miniseries that cares about this aspect. Last but not least the pace is fantastic, it all flows so naturally you'll end up watching an ep after another without even realising.
i'm 2eps in and i think it's cute, the vibes remind me of The Mysterious Class(2021, a web series by kpop group Treasure). The beginning immediately hooks you up with its aesthetic and thoughtful messages... let's hope it's this beautiful until the end
i wanna apologise for underestimating this drama's potential.. in the beginning it might not seem like it, but it truly gets better the more you watch it. Now i only have the last episode left, what would i give for this cute story to last a little longer:')
yes, he sent on bubble a survey on which one would you rather: a poop flavoured curry or curry flavoured poop. Apparently this question is the same that appears in a scene in this drama (correct me if i'm wrong hahah)
i haven't watched this drama yet, but i read your comment and you spoke the thoughts i was to afraid to say out…
lol the fact is that i don't have anything to say, you're right about this one, however i randomly found this comment that resonated with me and my opinion of bl lately on this show that i haven't seen yet. Sorry if the wording made it seem like i was hating on this show, i actually was even thinking about giving it a try, that's why i came to the comment section trying to understand if it could suit my taste
I think the ratings on some of the higher rated shows are just proving to me I need to try to watch more low rated…
i haven't watched this drama yet, but i read your comment and you spoke the thoughts i was to afraid to say out loud. I used to like BL series a lot and watched quite a few, but lately i struggled finding good ones because authors exploit the lgbt themes just to make a commercially appealing series, so they throw in abusive parents, beautiful naked bodies, steamy kisses, evil female characters just to create some high tension in the drama which everybody loves, but if you look carefully into these products they're empty of any kind of thought provoking message if you know what I mean. They base their hopes of success on the lgbt hot scenes and don't really put as much effort in creating a layered script or artistic cinematography (maybe that's why there have been a huge increase in bl production lately?). End of the rant lol pls forgive my yapping :') Anyway, if I may give you some recs maybe you could try watching "The eight sense" or also "Time of fever". If you have any suggestions for me too, I'll be happy to hear them^^
Honestly I liked it, a lot more than I thought I would, I think I loved the fact that the AI acted like an AI…
i also agree with your point of view, to me the fact that they kept portraying the AI like a machine highlighted the surprising "absurdity" of an event that happens more than we would like to admit: humans feeling emotionally attached and reliant on technology, despite the latter not having any kind of emotions. So yeah, it's truly amazing how the authors conveyed all of this just by some little details :)
i wanted to ask to those who both read the manga and watched the series: which one did you like better? (p.s.: out of topic but I came here after leeknow of stray kids referenced this work hehehe)
What's with the low rating? It was such a cute miniseries! Also the theme tackled is very interesting and actual: sometimes we rely so much on AI, not only for daily tasks, but also emotionally. For many AI is the only one to turn to when in need of the comfort of being listened and understood. And this series depicted it well leaving you with something to think about. The cinematography is nothing fancy but well done considering the low budget. Even the acting is surprisingly good, especially the actor who performed the AI character, even if his character required keeping a blank face and automatic-like voice, he was able somehow to convey such a layered spectrum of emotions just by his subtle tone variations, i was very positively impressed by this. All in all it's a very worthy quick watch. My rating would easily be a 7.5!
btw i also started with low expectations but then ended up loving the series hahah

Do they make dramas as funny as these anymore?
Anyway, if I may give you some recs maybe you could try watching "The eight sense" or also "Time of fever". If you have any suggestions for me too, I'll be happy to hear them^^
