This was my most awaited kdrama but it was such a big disappointment. Hope JSM and JHI reunite in other project…
I really enjoyed this drama despite its flaws, and the leads had great chemistry. I hope they can reunite in another project, whether it’s a movie or even a thriller.
I haven’t watched some dramas of the leads, but I don’t really know the second leads here. I rated it higher…
Yes, there are similar dramas out there, but I still enjoyed Love Next Door. It wasn’t just about the connectivity between characters; it was about really understanding each character's journey and drawing some valuable lessons from the story. While a lot of dramas, especially on Netflix, tend to have 16 episodes, I believe that if the local actors portray their roles well, it could still maintain a strong audience. I've seen dramas with lesser-known actors gain popularity, even with cliché plots. I understand your point, though maybe the writer could have leaned more into the slice-of-life aspect, but it still worked for me. The comedy wasn’t as prominent, but that didn’t take away from the story and I hope you enjoy watching NGNL!
I don’t see how this drama is considered 'overrated.' That word feels overused lately, as if people are against a drama gaining any popularity. This one had a relatively small following anyway, since it wasn’t purely focused on romance but also emphasized family dynamics and slice-of-life moments.
TO this point after watching all episodes, I still don't get what was good about this drama. If this drama didn't…
I haven’t watched some dramas of the leads, but I don’t really know the second leads here. I rated it higher because I connected with it. Sometimes a drama can disappoint you or end up surprising you in a good way. Don’t speak too soon on No Gain No Love hope you like the ending.
@PKR Even God rested, you cried for weeks saying this drama wasn't worth your time, but you've spent more time on it than any other. Just let it go and move on."
Some of these comments are wild: six episodes could never suffice for such complex characters story. There was so much depth to cover because the writer didn't pen the story just for the leads, and with the EX backstory, a short format would never have done it justice. After all, if it had been only six episodes in total, the leads probably wouldn't even have gotten a chance to date. Love Next Door does nothing to bring the standards of K-dramas down in any way. It retains those core elements that make K-dramas special: emotional depth, character dynamics, and a meaningful look at personal growth and healing. The drama embracingly represents Korean culture, family connects, and that slow-burn romance I love-arguably key elements to the K-drama experience.
Atypical Family It had 12 episodes, giving six for the complex characters and six for their growth. Still, the story focused more on the leads rather than the side characters. Probably, the drama was just boring for some y'all, but for me, I enjoyed watching it. That's to say, we all have different opinions .
I just finished episode 15, and the whole episode was so heartwarming. I felt so emotional, especially during the mother scenes and the proposal 😭💖 it's everything I’ve wanted. For a drama to have such relaxing yet meaningful character development in episode 15 is such a treat. I'm so glad I stuck with it because I would’ve missed out on something really special. For me, this drama is a solid 9.0, and if it ends well, I’ll probably rate it even higher. Every drama has its flaws nothing’s perfect So far, I really appreciate what I’ve gotten from this one. I might even end up rewatching it!
I don't fully agree with your opinion. Yes, everyone is free to state their opinions, positive or negative but…
I agree with you some people are just too slow to grasp this concept. It’s unfair to those who might be misled by comments that don't align with this drama.
If you want to share your thoughts, feel free to do so, but please avoid spreading misinformation. If some of you dislike the drama so much, why not just skip it and save yourselves the stress? The toxic negativity I see here, aside from constructive criticism, is simply unfair.
So, it's acceptable to spread misinformation here? Yesterday, I read a similar opinion that you discussed with…
Some of us don’t comment every time and prefer to read the comments instead. I'm glad I'm watching this drama; otherwise, I might have been misled by some comments spreading misinformation. It's surprising that some people think that’s acceptable.

I'm finding it confusing because this user doesn’t seem to understand the main point. It feels like they're trying to play the victim here. Meanwhile, as I read through the comments, I see everyone sharing different perspectives.
So, it's acceptable to spread misinformation here? Yesterday, I read a similar opinion that you discussed with someone else, and it seems like you didn't get their point? No one is claiming this is a fan page, No one is stopping anyone from expressing their opinion, but posting inappropriate comments or spreading misinformation, is not okay.
