Back to the show, that Papa/Mama nonsense is the cringiest thing I've ever heard right after the "Kun Dad" calamity!🙂 And YES it's hurting the energy that's supposed to be portrayed by the Alpha characters and the whole vibe of the show. (PS: looks like I am not the only one disliking it according to the comments).
Don't get me wrong, I am glad you like it and I totally respect your taste, you do you... Also, I don't give a damn about them having nicknames for each other out of set, during fan meetings, concerts, lives, real life...fans of the ship are enjoying that and it's not an issue at all. However, that doesn't have to follow to the series cause it's not necessary and does not suit the nature of the plot nor the atmosphere of the show. (Especially when it feels forced just to insist on Charlie being Top cause most of the times he's just not pulling it off sorry).
So here is my unsolicited advice : stop worshipping ships and sugar coating things when they suck, and stop taking other people's opinions personal cause they're not. It's not about Pooh its not about Pavel it's not about you, it's just about the SHOW. (Script, directing, editing, and also acting when it's not what it should be) And remember, this BL industry needs some reality check and constructive feedback from time to time in order to evolve and improve for the best.😉

Actually, I think they are forcing that Papa/Mama nonsense down our throat in order to imphasize and insist on the fact that Charlie is Top, cause unfortunately he's not able to pull that off by himself along side Babe's Aura, I am sorry but he just doesn't have that Alpha Top energy they're trying to show in the series! I don't mind Babe being bottom and I loved his scenes with Willy cause that was fricking convincing and believable! But when it comes to Charlie, it's easy to see who's leading especially during NCs (That was even clearer during the Nc in Ep 7). It's indeed a matter of taste and everyone should respect it👌🏻 However, you can keep watching a show and still criticize it, I personally never drop a series unless it's really unwatchable...I don't think it's an issue, as long as there's no hate just constructive remarks...I mean criticism also helps the cast reconsider things and review them for the better, also the actors can use some constructive feedback to evolve and grow and maybe make better choices for future projects. And in my opinion, we need to stop sugar coating BL shows just for the sake of the ships and be a bit real in order for this industry to mature and improve, either Script or directing or cast wise to give us some great master pieces in the future!

That season 1 excitement is no where to be found unfortunately, maybe if you rewatch and compare you'll see the difference...but in the end of the day it's a matter of tastes of course🤷🏻♀️

So okay we get it, you want to emphasize the fact that Charlie is Top, but by doing it this much, it implies that Charlie can't pull the Top energy by himself and needs to remind us of it all the time, which is sadly the case, as the whole CharlieBabe situation is unfortunately not giving in my opinion (speaking just about the show), cause the more they insist on forcing that papa/mama thing every where, the more they push us to define their relationship when we actually don't need to...Also, sorry but Charlie isn't giving Alpha energy at all especially with Babe's aura, so everything ends up looking awkward as Babe is literally leading almost all the interactions and intimate scenes...And making Babe's character weaker and helpless while making Charlie the whole time hero isn't helping either, So It would've been better if they just show it as it is and just let the viewer interpret it the way they like to cause that thing is cringe as fuq! Naaah, Sorn is supposed to be dealing with trauma from his past relationship, which made him afraid of commitment, and made it hard for him to open up about his feelings and acknowledge the fact that he fell for someone, in addition to losing all abilities to trust a new partner...But sadly they failed to portray that and made him look like a freak who's only obsessed with meaningless sex! The feelings are there,the struggle the jealousy and the obsession, the longing and the protective instincts...but none of it was delivered nor focused on as it should. That's why Ep 9 was the best so far, cause it focused a bit more on the story rather than the physical stuff.
To number 2: in the book they moved into Thais condo he bought in his youth. And Sorn doesn't know it exists,…

I totally agree! and even today's ep was poorly directed and lacked a lot script wise in my opinion (those office fighting scenes were literally coming out of nowhere with zero context, different days different clothes, just out of the blue), And don't get me started on the dialogues nor the fake beard...I still gave a good rating tho cause I enjoyed the show overall, but that doesn't change the fact that the series could've been really better with a good script and a descent directing and editing.
