Anyone else found it funny that he keeps drugging the same girl?

"Here take these pills to recover..."
"That's a lot. Are you sure?"
"Don't worry, there's more where that came from..."

And his snarky smile every time she's confused and talking to him.

"I don't know why, but I keep seeing you in my dreams..."
"Hmm, weird I don't know either." Smiles.

I wonder why they deleted this scene. In the original, I found it hilarious no one cared to ask where Lu Ming went and moved on with life.

I'm a sucker for time travel/reincarnation/transportation troupes where the MC uses knowledge from modern time to his advantage. This cdrama fit this bill perfectly. Also the comedy was great! I haven't laughed out loud at a cdrama since the 90s, TVB era.

People compare this to Joy of Life, but they are so different. Joy of Life wasn't funny at all. The comedy was forced. The overall tone of that show is very serious, plot heavy. The comedy elements just doesn't fit. But I saw what they tried to do.

Also, Joy of Life plot was too complex for my simple mind. I got so lost, I DNF the show. Every time I tried to get back...I just can't. The tone is dark, the characters are dark, the scenes are dark--director added some dark wash to the colors or something.

Enough bashing JOL. Watch this instead! Better pacing, easier plot to follow, great characters, and awesome comedy.
