You have a point. However, this is a visual medium. They could cut down most subplots and it would still make sense. This class separation could have been the end of episode 6. They could spend the rest on developing the relationship and give everyone what we wanted to see: a closure, whether a happy or bad ending, instead of prolonging the unnecessary.

I'm convinced people giving it skyrocketing ratings haven't watched a lot outside of BL genre. I don't expect Nolan or Scorsese level of talent, but at least deliver a full and coherent product.

Please watch episode 3 again. Jae Won was the one ignoring Ji Huyn, then suddenly by the end of it, they met and held hands (??) after riding the subway. There was no icebreaker, no explanation as to why and how JW decided to reunite with JH after the kiss on the beach

What do you mean just English? Am I to speak a different language? The teacher's threesome, Gao's flirting with his classmate, Jia Hao's breakdown,... I could go on and tell you almost none of them contributes to the main story. I don't read the novel and never will, but I expect the show to deliver a coherent story, not dragging every little detail to fish for more episodes and endless seasons

Admittedly I saw Wang about to kiss Tian so confusing isn't the right word. What I meant to say is that the relationship is taking way too slow to form and it's near the end already. I also find the subplots almost nothing but filler content. Everything built up to that "almost kiss" on the bed feels really weak. They could have just realized feelings for each other episodes ago, judging by Tian's words and actions toward his brother, but Wang just had to see the teachers make out to decide that he actually.. liked his brother romantically? It's really off putting for me.

I don't watch BL expecting sex and kisses, but it's the end of the show so at least the relationship has to be at a turning point already. Don't even get me started on the cockroach scene, all Jiang Tian had to do was tell him to move away from the pillar but no. Like they are intentionally dragging everything out.

I'm sorry but what is this show supposed to be? Eleven episodes already and nothing is happening. The two leads haven't established any kind of solid connection, but now they are bringing in a teacher's threesome and some night theft?? Progression is so painfully slow and messy I'm starting to think some people just watch them to see the actors...
