The adaptation is good . It's far from what i expected.
I read the novel, watched the animation, and am now watching a live action. I can say it's a good live action. There were around 2400 chapters in the novel and 4 seasons of animation, but we got 30 episodes in live action (first 40, then 34, and finally only 30 eps remain). The character development in live action is attractive for all the cast. The combination of some scenes was also better. A few parts were a bit fast and can be difficult to understand (If you didn't read about the technique of fighting), but you still can get it if you focus. The story is not boring. The acting is best served, and the graphics and CGI are also perfect. The speed of VDO seems 1.25 to me, but I like it. I recommend if you like the cultivation drama and not much romance, this one is well fit for you guys.
