After agesss, I finally found a drama that had me laughing out loud like crazy. I almost bailed after ep2 since the comedy just didn’t hit for me at first. But curiosity about the characters backstories esp Chulan and Baobao realy kept me hooked,I was binge-watching nonstop. At some point, I don’t even know when, everything just clicked. The humor started hitting, and I couldn’t stop laughing!
The character growth with perfect casting is top notch, and it’s awesome to see how everyone evolves around Chulan. Now, I’m eagerly counting down the days for Season 2 😭hopefully dropping early next year!
Just watched this series aft several attempts, as I wasn’t a fan of Xu Kai. I’ve always felt his youthful appearance made it hard for me to appreciate his acting. (Sorry Xu Kai Fans) I realy struggled with FIYS and dropped it around Ep 20. Luckly, I pushed myself to watch ABAY bcs of Seven Tan and began to like Xu Kai. Then now here I am with WOL!
As we know, colossal dramas rarely have happy endings; they often end with sadness or bittersweet farewells. (I hate it so much 😪). But WOL breaks that mold, delivering so much satisfaction that you want to rewatch it right after finishing! 😭😭😭
This drama is genuinely beautiful. It has WRTW vibe but features a perfectly paced slow-burn romance plot. No single Ep were boring! Beside this one is more logical in term of not to overpower 🤣 Even the politics scenes were good 👍 I never thought I could enjoy those scenes w/out speed up!
Li Ni’s character evolves beautifully, showcasing a range of emotions and I feel very satisfy with Xu Kai performance here🥰 And FL/Cui Lin character , who remains strong and determined until the end, is the best and strong FL for me! For those who love mature romance, wise FL character, this is your drama! 👍
No doubt, WOL is beautifully made, not to add, their kisses feel so natural and the way they flirt gives me butterflies! Arghhh I truly wish I could watch it for the first time all over again! 💕
I don’t understand the negativity in the comments section. Everyone has the right to love or hate a show, but attacking someone’s physical appearance is simply unacceptable. Beauty is subjective, and people have different tastes.
As a big fan of KSH and KJW, I eagerly waited for “QOT” to drop, but after six episodes, I found myself bored and switched to “Lovely Runner.” While I appreciate the main leads, I just didn’t feel their chemistry, and I ultimately dropped it at Episode 12. Is “QOT” bad? Yes for me, Not for everyone—it has its fans, and both KSH and KJW is undeniably talented.
On the flip side, I approached “Lovely Runner” with no expectations and didn’t even know who the main lead was. To my surprise, it became my favorite time travel rom-com. The OST, especially “Sudden Shower,” adds a sentimental touch for me. Despite its low budget and production issues, the strong script, compelling plot, and solid performances led to a satisfying ending, making it deserving of high ratings.
For those who struggle with the repetitive plot, remember that the presence of the serial killer is essential; without him, there’s no story. This is how the characters’ fates intertwine.
BWS as Sunjae has become a phenomenon, with all his Asian fan meetings selling out in minutes, and KHY is equally beloved. This shows that many viewers appreciate their performances and the story of Lovely Runner. Haters will hate, but let’s keep criticism professional and avoid attacking anyone’s appearance.
For people who watched the Chinese version did park dal character was exist ???? I want to know if they changed…
FL got besties from high school. Like Pak Dal. But the storyline for PakDal in FBC were changed a bit. During promo, Seems Pak Dal might endgame with HaeJoon. And in Cdrama,no second couple/or partner for HaeJoon.But still happy ending for everyone :)
Very strong writing with few loopholes, except:(1) how did the FL obtain the picture evidence of the molester…
1. She obtain/download from the witneses icloud. In ep14, she told them her username and password.
2. Lu Di didnt seat and go through the incident inside the bus. (He didnt GET ON and OFF from the bus). Both Xiaoyun and Shiqing stop him at bus stop before he get on the bus.
3. They repetetive said that Shiqing have stable and strong mental health (i guess this might be the reason she was not effected with the sickness) and yes at first watch, i think there is no point to add the sickness plot like its not necessary, but after rewatch, maybe - to give more tense to the viewers/hero might die etc.
Just finished 2 Ep which i dont expect it was sooo good. I watched because I feel its gona be meh since go ahead is masterpiece for me. Nothing can beat the ori version Go Ahead for sure, but FBC is realy enjoyable. I love how they put tense between Sanha and Juwon in 2nd ep. so later we dont have that cringe moment when brother fall in love with his sister later(ya i know they are not related but still..i do feel awkward for their romance in ori version at first).
As for the cinematography, i have to say FBC is super satisfying. All the scene were beautifuly shot. For the couple,theyre chemistrying ok! for Haejoon/Ziqiu character, I feel both are perfect in different way. I love both and I find its acceptable. Happy Go Lucky person always got scar hidden inside. :)
I look forward for their romance since Haejoon seems to have girlfriend here which i hope Zhiqiu had endgame in Ori version before. Anyway i love this remake so much! 10/10 for me as for 2ep 😍
