KristSingto has one of the most fascinating fiction-to-real-life storylines, blending their history with the narratives they portray on screen from Sotus to Sotus S to Our Skyy to The Ex-Morning the series which is their upcoming BL series for 2025 and consider their comeback BL series.
SOTUS: The story of SOTUS began with the author, BitterSweet. The photo of Singto Prachaya as a head hazer that inspired BitterSweet to write "SOTUS" was taken in 2012 when he was a freshman at Kasetsart University. BitterSweet saw this photo and used it as inspiration to create Arthit, the main character in the novel. To make things even more interesting, Krist was Singto’s real-life junior at university. Singto was the head hazer and often hazed Krist and his friends because Krist didn’t like following the rules—wearing the wrong uniform and openly expressing his dislike for hazing (kinda funny Krist still wanted to become a hazer at the time). There were even rumors that BitterSweet contacted Singto to audition for Arthit when casting began for the series. Originally, Krist was supposed to play Kongpob and Singto was meant to play Arthit, but the production team decided to reverse their roles. It was a perfect twist of fate, making it feel like KristSingto were always destined to play these two iconic characters. Seeing them swap roles behind the scenes was also a fun glimpse into how well they fit into both characters.
SOTUS S: Season 2 felt like an extension of KristSingto’s own journey. Just like how they met in university in real life, the series followed Arthit and Kongpob from their university days into their working lives at the same company—mirroring how Krist and Singto transitioned from being students to colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Our Skyy Season 1, Episode 5: This episode is the Sequel to Sotus S and was an almost a direct reflection of a real-life moment between Krist and Singto. In the series, Kongpob plans to go abroad for further studies, leading to Arthit overthinking the future of their relationship. In reality, Singto had plan to study abroad, and Krist, known for his tendency to overthink, started to worry that Singto no longer wanted to continue as a pairing with him. The situation became even more intense when Singto’s father fell ill, causing Singto to stay in Thailand, even after Singto's father got better, Singto still didn't leave as planned and continue to be actor as a freelance which he wanted to experience outside his comfort zone and grow as an actor—but Krist, unaware of the real reason at first, wondered if it had just been an excuse. Thankfully, Singto had a serious conversation with Krist to explained everything and clear his worries showing once again how their real-life emotions and experiences parallel their on-screen story. Their interviews discussing this time in their lives remain a favorite among fans.
The Ex-Morning: KristSingto upcoming comeback BL series for 2025. Unlike their previous series, The Ex-Morning is an original story, but even this one was deeply influenced by KristSingto’s real-life bond. P’Aof researched KristSingto history together and shaped the series around their dynamic, casting them as exes who reunite. As P’Aof himself stated, his goal is to bring Singto back to Peraya, and this project is his way of doing just that.
With so many of their works reflecting their real-life relationship, it’s exciting to wonder—will their next project continue this pattern, or will it take them in a completely new direction?
Is this series based on a novel?? If yes which novel it is?
No, this is an original series, I will try to explain this as easy as possible:
The script and novel were written at the same time but by different people ( Lucin, who is the writer for the novel and Bee Pongsate Lucksameepong who is the screenwriter for the drama ). Usually Gmmtv give the writer the main key points, so basically the concept of the script and she/he makes their own version of the story into a novel for the company.
Reason Gmmtv do this, is to make money of course. And GMMTV has done this a couple of times, when they have an original series. The novel usually release before the series comes out.
One thing I should say is that the series and the novel are going to be different because this is an original script BUT with some similarities.
Hope my explanation wasn't confusing.
NOTE: To anyone who reads the novel when it comes out, please still put some spoiler warnings if you do decide to comment because as I said before, there will be some similarities and we would not know what they are since the series is not out yet.
News: The novel for The Ex-Morning will be release on March 29th Bangkok International Book Fair 2025
Q16 will start on March 25th! Reason is because KS is practicing for the PEBACA Concert which will be on March 22nd plus 2 days break after the concert.
Could you explain what is the meaning of Q13? Im new to this term.
Sure, no problem.
A "Q" refers to a day of shooting at a filming location. Sometimes, a location requires several Qs (or shooting days), while other locations may need just one. Since The Ex-Morning will have 12 episodes, it’s estimated that filming will require 20 to 40 Qs. The exact number of Qs won’t be known until filming is nearly complete, and GMMTV shares that information.
Basically fans use this as a way to guess when filming will finish.

It seems Podd has joined the cast
Agree, I'm glad we are getting to see them in a mature setting after so long.
I don't want to give you too much spoilers but the camera crew reaction and the adult noise in the background tells you enough about their second NC scene 😭:
