Oh oh oh, just got novel spoilers Warning; novel spoilers aheadApparently the station only had one anchor position…
Well, first time I'm thankful that the series is the original and different/separate is more accurate and influence than the novel because I need a better reason or more than Tam just being insecure. 😅
In KristSingto, P'Aof and P'Lit, I trust for a better reason for Tam breaking up with Phi 🙏
Although, I disagree with trying to associate every action as fan services as reasons for them coming back as a pair BUT I DO AGREE with the last part. Let’s just appreciate them—both as a pair and individually—and enjoy what we’re getting as fans.
The 4th episode was irrelevant, there wasn't much happening whether in the the contents or in the form. I hope…
It was important though, we got progress on the show that they are filming for Phi, we got to know more about Phi's personality, his mom, how Tam and Phi became lovers and lots of important information from the past that is building up for future episodes such as Paul character. If anything, I felt this show has done an amazing job of not dragging the plot.
Also this series, The Ex-Morning is Written And Directed by three (3) Queer/Gay men so it's definitely for everyone to enjoy 😊
Yeah, Paul is not his ex. But I don't think Phi felt that way towards Tam yet. It's more like gratitude, maybe?…
I understand Tam’s point of view—it makes sense. From his perspective, it probably felt like Phi moved on too quickly, which may have made Tam feel like he was just a stand-in. But looking at it from Phi’s side, it’s different. He was already starting to let go of Paul when the signature book was burning. Then he remembered that Tam had signed it too, and he nearly burned himself trying to rescue it from the fire. That moment says a lot. He was already very attached to Tam—so much so that even Phi’s mom noticed and asked Tam to take care of him in the city. We also can’t forget that Phi’s mom mentioned how he doesn’t let go easily, which makes that act of almost burning himself even more meaningful. Yes, he definitely felt grateful to Tam for always being there but I think when both Tam and Phi first kissed in the past that's when Phi's realise this feelings and did not hesitate at all to tell his mum that Tam and him were in a relationship 😊
Paul is Phi's senior who Padthapi has a crush on in university, he's Not an ex but more a person who Padthapi admires. That's the reason why Padthapi moved on from his heartbreak 💔 very quickly 😂 and fell in love with Tam in the flashback 😊
Is that girl's whining supposed to be cute? Do we ever get to know why Tam dumped Phi? Doesn't Phi want to know?
I'll be real—if she had actually lost the device (not sure what it was), I probably would've turned on her, not gonna lie 😅 Thankfully, she had just put it away somewhere safe and forgot where—it's not full-on negligence like leaving it outside or something. And I’ve gotta say, some may not like the character BUT the actress is absolutely adorable 🥰
The way Tam interacts with Phi actually frustrates me so much. I get that Tam is still supposed to be in love…
I kinda understand what you mean, this is why I was glad when Padthapi rejected Tamtawan kiss in this episode because it would have been too sudden for him. Phi wasn't ready to be vulnerable to Tam again because Phi knows he's still in love with Tam and he's trying to hold out as long as he possibly can. Padthapi is trying to protect his heart 🥺
Episode 4 is definitely my favourite so far! The comedy was spot on, with Phi being hilariously overdramatic and absolutely adorable. The flashbacks are a real highlight of the show—they add so much depth and charm. I love how Tam is completely over it, yet still takes full advantage of the situation just to stay close to Phi. This episode struck the perfect balance between humor and emotion. Also, I'm really enjoying Nudee’s character—she's quickly becoming a standout for me! The glance of romance we get from Phi and Tam just make me want more. The chemistry between Krist and Singto is just so natural. Phi's mom was so sweet, hoping we get to see her again! 😍
Also , It seems Next Thrusday we will be getting NC scene can't wait to see it 🙈😆
Honestly, whatever Tam had to leave for. Let's say and I'm guessing here, he had a problem/situation/opportunity aboard or something was wrong with him and he broke up with Phi for his own good. Based on Phi's personality in the past, doesn't Phi act like a person who would drop everything even the opportunity to be a reporter, to stay with Tam? Even if he had to go aboard for their relationship to maintain.
I remember Krist saying that Phi's personality can change based on his love-life, basically he's driven by emotions.
Don't get me wrong, Tam breaking up with Phi was cruel and wrong. And whatever reason Tam had, Phi should have a choice and a part in it, that's how a relationship works.
It's just interesting because it's one of the rare times, I actually watched a character who is driven by emotions based on love.
Although, I have met people like this, I also love to see how they would portray those types of characteristics in media form
I'm sure the reason would not be perfect because it's going to be realistic and humanly flawed just like most relationships that broke up. When it's like that most fans like to say it's predictable but I'm hoping it's a reason where I can see both sides and understand both.
You know, I read lots of guesses about why they broke up in the comment section and other platforms but none of them that I saw aligns with mine which I think is a misunderstanding BUT a good reason for why Tam broke up with Phi IF it's true. I'm not going to tell but THERE are some hints that I'm seeing from the series and the music videos
Maybe I'm overthinking it but when rewatching episode 3 I realised something about Tam's behaviour that made me question their relationship in the past and perhaps Phi was ignoring it or did not remember.
All I have to say most of the flashbacks have been too sweet and happy. I'm waiting until they show more struggles within their relationship in the past before Tam had left.
Not really a spoiler, but more like a hint about why TamPhi MIGHT have broken up:

I know some people are concerned about the reason behind the breakup, but if it helps ease your mind—Singto once mentioned that Phi had a red flag moment most likely in the past. That could possibly be the reason. It might even be connected to whatever argument they had back in 2021.
Hopefully, 🤞 the reason is valid because Tam is testing my patience this episode 😤
In episode 1, in one of their flashback (2021) Padthapi and Tamtawan had a conflict, it's mostly likely the reason why Tam broke up with Phi because of the topic they were arguing about.
She's intentionally written like that though, Krist said Earn's character Nudee is suppose to represent KristSingto fandom aka Peraya. So yeah, she's a shipper of TamPhi and fan-girl of Phi.
Also, she has not done anything that I would consider her having low intelligence or lacking common sense in anyway. Seems like a normal, bubbly girl with money 💰 and an older brother who spoils her.

But I'm talking in the flashback for episode 1, Phi and Tam were arguing
