Why do I have this feeling that the agency of the actor who plays Chanyeong pushed the producers to give him way too many scenes just to promote him? Because seriously, cutting from important emotional moments to random tennis scenes makes no sense. Honestly, this role might end up making me feel weird about him in the future, which is a shame. They didn’t just give us a bad show, they straight-washed it and scammed us. This is hands down the worst K-BL I’ve ever seen, and not just because of the frustrating script. It honestly feels like a bunch of homophobes wrapped this mess in shiny BL packaging and called it a series. I haven’t had a drama spike my blood pressure like this in ages, but this one managed to do it every single episode.

I’m honestly just confused by that scene. Do Ba U went in toward Ji Hun’s lips, Ji Hun opened his eyes and clearly saw him, but then nothing happened. No reaction, no conversation, nothing. It felt kind of pointless, and I don’t really get what the scene was trying to do.

It’s not just that I don’t understand the characters. The plot itself feels a bit all over the place sometimes, like it’s missing some logic. I get frustrated when it seems like the writers aren’t really thinking about how the audience might connect the dots.

I’m still watching though, mostly because the cast is cute and Ha Min’s character is pretty likable. But up to episode 4, it hasn’t really impressed me. It kind of feels like a waste of great actors and what could’ve been a really interesting story.
