I recommend you to slightly low your high expectation. I'm sure this is the best gmmtv's production in 2024 but still there's little flaws in it. But still very enjoyable, esp the song picking in this series, top notch.

Bro mdl is filled by the BL fandom, you can't really rely on mdl's rating, it's mostly a bias 😅 even tho the series is trash the rating is probably still at highest score, cz they make the fanbase announcing that if you a fans, you MUST to just rate it good in mdl, i saw it from twitter. just watch it and judged it by urself to find out is it really worth the rating or not.

Plot wise is kinda fresh cz gmmtv only have 2 BL with this kind of themed, Never Let Me Go and Kidnap. But brutally honest, NLMG is more worthy by plot, Kidnap is lowkey a romcom. There's a lot of plot hole until 5 episodes and i think it's not giving.... the actor's performance is lowkey is low standard, the only one that stunning is the Mafia Boss woman and Ohm Pawat. For killing your time, i think there's a lot of others in GMMTV that might bring u joy, but if you only want to watch Ohm Pawat being a hot gay man, it's worthy 😂

Depending on what ur preferences. Production wise, LOA is worst cz it's too lakorn and too old style that i believed i'm time travelled to 2016 (they are airing in 2023) but if we want to talk about story wise, acting and chemisrtry, one of the bestest thai suspense BL so far, meet expectation. No unnecessary comedy (no romcom) and full focus on suspense (which i was expecting from Kidnap actually but it didn't match my expectation)

Tbh i still waiting for FK focused as main artist rather than team up with other GMMTV's cp cz FK is one of GMMTV's that serving talent in acting. I might take a look for FK in The Heart Killers but i rather wait for their own cp series without team up with others.

I lowkey agree with you, but if ur standard is a well written script i suggest you to not watching GMMTV's BL 😅 GMMTV's BL isn't for someone who looking for a well written plot and script. But i have to say it that J&J isn't even that good tho... i watch the 3 episode and i feels like same feeling with Kidnap, the expectation was too high and it disappointing. One thing J&J do better is YinWar acting is on another level, which is more enjoyable to watch than Kidnap. People can choose which one they preffered, a cliche GMMTV's BL or a bit unique plot and great acting by J&J.

Brutally honest here, i'm interesting in this series cz after 4minutes done airing, i tried to search for another BL that still on air. I'm mostly BOC stan (need to discover my background first cz somehow all of u here aren't nice enough to welcome a critic from a certain type of people) so i only watch Not Me, Bad Buddy, ATOTS, Last Twilight and Moonlight Chicken from GMMTV's bl. So let me give my two cent about the 3 first episode.

I really looking for a suspense BL drama because we lack of it. The last one that i appreciate the most is Laws of Attraction, one and only decent suspense BL drama. I look at Kidnap existence, lowkey wanted a bit more darkish and more deep than Law of Attraction (series that using crime as the main issue). But when i watched the first episode, i felt that my expectation was broken. It's more like rom-com and sexualizing/romanticizing a crime, which is i don't mind since it's all just a fiction but i'm disappointed with my own expectation.

Overall for the looks of the production design, this is not a cheap one. They used a good and high quality of camera, they good ad cinematography and the editing scene is quite decent for GMMTV's standard. Last time i watch GMMTV's suspense and crime themed was Not Me, and Kidnap on 2024 giving more decent looks of production design, appreciate it.

I want to open discussion for the act skill. I already read most comment are like Lengso act as Q is better than some of newcommer actor. Honey let me speak the truth, Lengso act as Q in Kidnap was BAD. I appreciate how he keep trying his best to potray the character but he is not good at all. Not a hater, ofc, but the way people not accepting the truth that his acting skill is bad is a problem here. I give you a comparison, Bible debuted as BL actor when he played as Vegas. You can tell me he doing a great job as a newcommer and played a high risk role. And he doing his best. When i saw Leng, i appreciate his hard work but it ain't giving at all. I watch so many BL already so argue with me i'm open to it. I hope he can be more focus on lack of facial expression and his voice intonation. I pity him because he is somehow forced to do a high risk role but his skill isn't support him. If only i can see Leng playing a more natural character and soft easy plot, i might change my mind cz he is pontential in that field. I hope i can watch him trhough all the 12 episode to make it sure he has improvement before the series ended.

Ohm Pawat acting was good. He is giving the micro expression, the gesture that showed us he is in the tight situation. I'm interested to watch Kidnap aside im expecting a suspense crime BL was to see his hot appearence.

The 3 first episode is a bit bland ans cliche, i hope we can see the interesting part soon. And i hope all cast can showing their bestest perfomance until last episode.
