In what universe this great drama has rating 7.8 and Blood river, Whispers of fate & Sword and beloved have 8.3 o0.

Ding Yu Xi doesn't even have to open his mouth, he is an actor who can translate every emotion through his eyes. Ppl are comparing this with the other drama " Female General" ,but from what I saw so far this one is 100 times better. It would be interesting to see how 7'th son relationship will develop with Chu Yu. She looks 10 years older than him, I was waiting to see something new and "Fight for Love" is giving us tea with the first episodes.

Yan Zi Xian & He Xuan Lin are amazing actors and they're basically carrying the small budged series on their shoulders. When I watch this I have "Love& Bid farewell" flashbacks, it happens when same actors are paired again and again for similar lead roles.

Hahaha cast is almost identical like in "The Starry Love"

Why this is so much better than the similar 2025 drama releases?

If you want love/hate relationship with obsessive male lead then you must check "Love & Bid Farewell", "Enslaved by Love" and "The King's Woman". These are the best.

it is even 7.5 max .Basically these dramas are by default overrated, everything above 7 is very good score, but I don't get ppl rating it 10. I forced myself watching until ep 28 and I am so bored.

This was such relaxing and positive drama.

Actually he is doing horrible job and I am not sure if it is his fault. His delivery is completely with blank face expression and it is not him only. The entire plot doesn't make much sense, the dialogs and the short cut battles between the characters appear random and rushed. Everything feels disconnected. Compare this to Word of Honor, where everything was perfect.

This is very rich drama: costumes ,accessories, sound & decors. I am missing however most important things : interesting story and good acting. The actors recite lines with blank faces , also scenes are cut in very strange way. Surprise attack, they chat, fight then all of a sudden stop to chat again and one is flying away. This makes everything so unnatural. Something feels off here.

This has same vibe like moonlight mystique, shadow love, Fangs of Fortune,Feud and many other Chinese fairy tales I can't even remember released in 2025. These type of dramas are getting more lazy and flat in their plot, too many cheap special effects ppl coughing blood and looking just fine in next 10 mins. Love in the clouds is not great and not too bad.

They only entertaining plot in this show I fast forward anything else. I am watching this drama only for them literary.

Watched everything until ep27 and the more I watch the less I care about the main leads relationship. I find the plot around Xia Jing and the princess far more interesting. I don't get why they have diminish Murong Yao role, he would be the perfect main villain.

I am trying to like this drama but I have to drop it after episode 6. i just don't get where this is going, entire family is super annoying.

I like the main actress, what really annoys me from start is how much yellow foundation they put on genie's face, ignoring completely his ping pale neck and hands. To spend money on the great special effects and to leave this simple thing like this.

For me they were boring dumbass, everyone has an opinion you know . Female general was super cringe, she was crying "Dudu","Dudu" every two mins with the fake baby voice.

I am pretty sure the lower rating is due to the annoying fake crying children.

True if you compare it to the boring Female general or Shadow Love, this drama should have rating 12.0

Zuo Ye is such captivating and talented actor, why they don't give him main roles. He is so overlooked :(

I haven't seen so many beautiful Chinese actresses in one drama.
