the character will choose differently. if ying lei said that bai jiu will die, i really think that less pple will complain because bai jiu betrayed them and all that, and because a lot of pple love zyz. it makes sense that ying lei will choose bai jiu tho. when they first met, ying lei and bai jiu was always together, and ying lei never interacted with zyz. furthermore, zyz killed his grandfather, and he never get the chance to understand zyz like how yichen did

i heard jia rui has a new drama by gjm, called 画皮， with joseph zeng, cdl,ju jing wei and yan an, w 36 eps. out in 2026. but i really wish jia rui will have dramas that are not from gjm, because gjm needs at least 5 months to edit a drama, and at this rate, he will only have 1 drama per year

It's currently no 5 in all dramas airing recently, with eastern at no 1, and pearl girl at 3 or 4. It really good considering it is by an unpopular director and other dramas has many rlly famous actors( Zhao Lusi, ding yuxing, Esther)

I think it's because no one really rated fof. The reviews are always stuck at 100 or smth and never improved. Idk why the no of reviews did not increase
