I managed to hold my tears in from this episode until I read your comment. It was so beautifully written and I don’t think I’m gonna get over the series anytime soon.

do I need to watch that one before this or is this just another adaptation from the same source material? it’s on my list to watch but I haven’t yet. I’m only about a year or so into bl so I have a lot of catching up to do

I just finished watching it and I loved it for the cute fluffy show it was. i honestly think it’s getting so much hate because people were expecting only friends mark not the fluffy all things sunshine and rainbows that it is. could it have been better absolutely. but there are very few if any shows that everyone can agree are perfect. but for something to get so much hate for seemingly no reason when you can see the amount of effort that was made is sad.

I immediately went to look for it and I’m gonna watch it right now.

i believe the other kbl you’re talking about is heart stain. I agree. it honestly was dragged out so much. they should have cleared it up earlier and had given us some cute couple moments and maybe had made Jae min more of a villain instead of a genuinely good person. there didn’t seem to be an real antagonist. just Ba wu against himself.

I completely agree. It was a cute watch. If you go into it, knowing that it’s gonna be more about the straight couple and not actually about Heesu and seungwon. I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt like we were being queer baited I finished it only because I have a thing about finishing shows that I’ve started, and I added it to my list, but I definitely won’t watch it again. This could’ve had so much potential and could’ve done so well, but it just fell so flat.

I agree I really enjoyed the show, but it felt like it focused so much on the straight relationship that heesu’s relationship took a backseat and they remembered in the last episode that it was supposed to be about him. I definitely feel like it could’ve been better, but I still enjoyed it. I didn’t read the original source material as I don’t with most of the shows that I watch so I can’t speak to whether it’s a good adaptation of the original material so strictly from a watching the adaptation standpoint it’s a little heartbreaking to know that there was another LGBTQ couple that got completely erased.

I just watched it. i definitely was not expecting how graphic some of those x rated scenes were going to get. it kinda threw me off. I expected some pretty detailed scenes of the drug use. to touch on the dealer going right back as soon as he got out it honestly wasn’t that surprising to me. as someone who had people in my family who were correctional officers for most of my life I can say that’s a lot more common then people think. of course we don’t want that to happen and it defeats the purpose of correctional facilities for some people it’s the only thing they know how to do. it’s heartbreaking that it’s a reality for so many. I also would have liked to see the friends reactions to the news of his death. I debated adding this to my completed list for the simple reason of I’m trying to keep track of my bl’s I’ve watched and while yes it’s “technically” bl it’s the based on a true story and not some fantasy or made of scenario. I did decide to add it however because I don’t think it’s one I’ll forget for a while. the actors did a phenomenal job. (I did dislike the 4th wall breaks as well but at least there weren’t too many)

I agree. I think that this storyline had soooo much potential to be great but with such a short run time per episode and only 6 episodes so much that would have made it amazing just wasn’t there. it definitely felt that they didn’t want to commit to it being bl. I’m new to bl so I’m catching up on it. as of posting this comment I just finished season 1. I’m hoping season 2 is much better in committing to it.

honestly, I’m glad that somebody else feels the same way that I do about it. Do I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever watched no have I definitely seen worse. Absolutely did. I enjoy it for what it was 100%. It was a silly vampire show that wasn’t meant to be serious and let’s face it long Lee Is hot and that made it all the more worth it.
