And i explained my point but anyways lets end this here, my discussion was not to argue with you. Even if they were alone, that scene was setting up what came next it wasn’t just “explaining” something to viewers. It was about pushing Ling er into doing exactly what they needed her to do (which, in this case, was attacking), It triggered the next phase of their plan.
The mirror scene was part of the setup. First, they sent the shadow to lead Yue to the snake, then brought her…
When Ling er was alone, they still made it seem like she was against Yue , because its all a scheming act, it just like saying if they are all planning when they were alone why did the sect leaders act harsh towards her.
yeah lol it's all over the place and it gets worse in the later eps. you have a super climatic ep 11 followed…
Then we have different opinion, nothing feels like it is everywhere for me i rather have them show most of the flashbacks now than add it to the present day and make it disjointed. Have a good day

It may not make sense to you, but it is understandable if they did not want to expose their plan on time, so they are alone and should start doing nothing ? or talk to each other. If they are alone why did she start an attack on Yue if they were not deceiving us

You are welcome, i explained because two users were arguing about it, one felt it did not make sense because there is no need to act when they are alone but we did not know that ling er was faking it.
The mirror scene was part of the setup. First, they sent the shadow to lead Yue to the snake, then brought her to the Lord’s house, and made it seem like she was Siling’s reincarnation even though Ling Er already knew. That whole arc built up to Ling er getting imprisoned and hiding the snake there that’s not a plot hole that’s just strategic misdirection that actually makes sense if you connect the dots. The heavenly lord can come check on them at any time, they both had to act carefully incase they are being watched.
And really, it’s not that complicated the drama started with Ling Er pretending to be a naïve mortal who didn’t know anything about Lord Siling to fool the audience. If she didn’t act annoyed or play the typical jealous second lead type, we’d all have guessed too early that she was working with Hua Yue.
Some users still said it is because they are alone, that doesn't change my opinion because they were portraying her character as someone who was acting like she doesn't like Yue's presence we can all agree to disagree.
Hmm… I’m not sure how to feel about this drama. I’m currently on episode 9, and something just feels off.…
The pacing is not fast paced, rather the first few episode focused on the FL's plan and then they are showing their past story, so far it has been straight forward.
