Love lives next door - it was average. For me, the problem isn't being predictable - it's like giving a good joke…
Why are troll accounts suddenly showing up here just because you dislike a drama? If you're going to hate on it, at least use your real account. There's a big difference between a drama having flaws in its writing and it being actually bad. This drama only has a few flaws. It's a slow-paced, slice-of-life melodrama, which clearly isn’t for you, so stop trolling.
Episode 14 was so good! I really like how this drama didn't make the FL base all her decisions around the ML. She’s really focused on figuring herself out, and I’m proud of her for that. Plus, I’m loving the dad scenes! They’ve been hitting all the right emotional notes. This is truly a perfect blend of slice of life and melodrama. If it ends well, it’s definitely going to make it into my top ten dramas!
Dropped at E10. A horrendous deplorable script that could have been written by a grade schooler. I tried to stay…
I have to say, I’ve been enjoying the show , even though I understand it may not be for everyone. While it has its moments, I don’t find it repetitive at all. There’s some depth to the story, even if certain characters like the overbearing moms can be a bit much. That aspect actually feels familiar, especially when thinking of how some Asian moms or some mums in general can be very controlling. Though I could point out some minimal flaws here and there, overall, I think the performances and storyline hold up well. It’s one of those shows that resonates differently depending on who’s watching
I totally get Misuk’s character she wants everything to be perfect or go her way, especially since this is also a neighborhood drama where appearances matter. Her controlling nature seems to stem from an inferiority complex, which really shapes her action in the series.
Bae Seok Ryu's former coworker is truly terrible and a bad person. I can't believe they would share such information with others just to mock him. It's such a vile thing to do. Karma hit him hard, and he deserves it.
I’m really enjoying this drama and Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born, I’m currently on episode 13 here and I love the relationship between Bae Seok Ryu and Choi SeungHyo. The confession scenes and the story about Seok Ryu's ex were so heart-touching, they showed the flaws in their relationship , this is why Seok Ryu expresses her feelings so subtly. She deserves the best, especially given how hard it must have been to hide her secrets from her family and best friend. She tried reaching out to him, but he was hurting and wanted to forget his own feelings so he wouldn’t ruin their friendship. Little did he know that she was going through a lot herself 😭
I also love the dynamics between the parents. Choi SeungHyo's family feels like a newlywed couple, while Bae Seok Ryu's family is more chaotic, giving off a "real neighborhood married couple" vibe. Moeum is also so cute she even kind of looks like Ryujin from ITZY, I think i like the genre for what it is here because slice of life dramas are so realistic and heartwarming.
If anyone has any recommendations for more slice of life dramas, I’d love to hear them💖
This drama has been an absolute delight to watch! As I’m currently on episode 11, I’m loving every moment. The confession scene in the sunflower field was simply breathtaking so romantic and beautifully shot It perfectly encapsulated the emotions between the leads . Can’t wait to see how their relationship unfolds💖.
I'm currently on episode 9, and I'm absolutely loving this drama! It's a slow-paced show filled with warmth, and I'm enjoying all the characters without ever feeling bored. The leads haven't gotten together yet, unlike some dramas where that happens by episode 8, which I really appreciate. Initially, I didn't have high expectations since the leads are famous, but this drama has surprised me in the best way.
I especially love the bickering between the main leads and the unique vibes each of the three friends brings to the drama . If it stays this good until the end, I’ll definitely give it a higher score.
