10/10 A Refreshing, Heartwarming Rom-Com with a Captivating Story
I have only watched the first few episodes of Our Sticky Love so far, but I am absolutely hooked! This drama is a brilliant breath of fresh air. I like the ML and he is worthy watching. It is a different story from the usual romance setups-the storyline is completely captivating and engaging right from the start, seamlessly blending small-town cozy vibes, satirical comedy, and a hint of crime suspense.
Jung Hae-in as Jang Tae-ha is an absolute standout. He effortlessly balances the protective, slightly scruffy exterior of a former boxer with an underlying warmth that makes his character instantly endearing. His decision to fake being Go Eun-sae's boyfriend to keep her safe after her amnesia creates a setup filled with lighthearted tension, witty banter, and genuine heart. Ha Young also delivers a fantastic performance as Eun-sae; even without her memories, she retains a sharp-witted instinct that keeps her from feeling like a helpless damsel in distress.
The quirky countryside village setting adds a comforting atmosphere that grounds the show, while the overarching mystery regarding her past keeps the narrative moving at a crisp pace. Director Kim Jang-han balances the sweet romantic beats with sharp comedy brilliantly.
If the early episodes are any indication, Our Sticky Love is shaping up to be a total delight. Whether you are a fan of secret-identity tropes or just looking for a feel-good show with top-tier acting and great pacing, this drama is well worth your time. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds!
