Hi, as I was reading some reviews I thought your name seemed familiar and found that you were the first one to comment on my review after I created the account. So interesting.

So on the review part, it seems you're like me very pessimistic on most things and nit-pickier. I can see how you would not like the 2nd leads and the immature character of the female lead. But I would argue it is not logical to try to compare other people with the people in a drama. For example, if a person is shown to be simple and immature they would act like it and I found the presence of the actress really refreshing. It is often annoying when a person becomes mature for no reason and act stoic after proven to be immature after just one event (Humans need time to change not just one incident).

It is obviously not a thought provoking story and it never promises one. If you compare with other deep shows it will always falter, However, it has its merit such as apart from the lack of chemistry between the 2nd leads everyone acts natural. The character development seemed organic, while the relationship felt unforced and warranted.

I do think this drama is overrated but it is perfectly fine on what it promises. It is simple and to the point, it rarely goes into tangent and when it does it tries to veer it back to the main leads. Finally, who does not love a simple girl without manly traits (rarity these days with the advent of feminism).

Review Hidden Love
You're right. The hospital scene was very much one of the social commentary scenes in this drama. You missed the…
Thank you for your thoughtful ideas. I really loved the ambience of the show its just that the show seemed too simple for me and I'm really not into puppy love kind of shows so its is not for me. As I have said it before the show has great chemistry and at times does a great job at showing real emotions.

Its just that nothing happened for most of the episodes and I'm sure you would agree that if most episodes were cut nothing would change and I would hate to waste like 20 hours of my life on something I would not have anything to think about later.

And finally, I could not finish the show so I may be wrong and most likely you saw what I could not see as depth. The show started off slow did a great job at the middle, but didn't really did anything for the most episodes.

I was just not the target audience. Its not that I love fighting scenes and unnecessary drama, its just I want to see something happening every single episode and Kdrama seems to have done a better job at handling that.
