Hi guys, I've had this on my mind for a while now. The FL actress in looks very much like the actress from Study Group and When the Stars Gossip Han Ji-eun. For instance, check out the clip in episode 3 around 1:08:00 to 1:09:00.
Some people are trash-talking the FL character, but here’s my take:
How we see a lead character depends on how the author builds them and the world around them. Take My Dearest (a historical drama without harem elements), Trunk, and Welcome to Samdal-ri—each tells a different kind of story, which shapes how we feel about the characters.
If we judge a character based only on one action or their past, we might miss the bigger picture. how ever I still want them to end up together.
I’m halfway at ep 3 and I must admit that Dong min deserves to get bullied, if you can’t stand up for yourself…
\You have the right to judge him and keep your distance if you don’t like him, but that doesn’t mean you should interfere in his life by bullying. If you think he’s trash, why are you getting your hands dirty in the name of bullying? Your thought process is absolutely messed up.
I have a couple of thoughts on this drama;Firstly, that haircut and the way its styled on PHS looks absolutely…
I guess there won’t be much romance moving forward since most of the potential romantic moments were already covered in ep 1. The focus will likely shift to the ML’s personal ambitions, succession and revenge against the powerful heads.
As for the romance, they might reunite at the end, with efforts from both sides rather than just the ML. Or, they could team up earlier, with the FL also having her own revenge motive for her father’s death.
Besides, the FL's face card doesn’t quite suit a long term relationship or a deeply emotional connection, so the production team might have chosen her for this kind of role rather than one centered on full-on romance. Also there’s no romance tag for this drama, which makes me wonder why.
