It's strange that the people who have commented on my post did not seem to understand my point. Perhaps I did not explain it clearly. The problem is that ALL the mums are uncaring cruel and emotionally damaging to their children. Its not just one of them. All 3 mothers shown have no redeeming qualities. You mentioned that there have been enough dramas where the Father is portrayed as 'the bad guy'. However, I can't think of a single drama where ALL the dads are horrible or deadbeats. Can you? I hope that the writers will over coming episodes can show at least one loving responsible mum. Yes, it is only 'fiction'. However, even fiction reflects society and therefore there should be at least one adult female who cares and loves their child in this drama. Don't you think?

Agree. Not all mums are 'good' mums. The point is that in this drama ALL of the mothers are horrible to their children. Portrayed as cruel, nasty and uncaring of their children's wellbeing. Not one adult female is shown in a good light while the men are 'saints'. Do you believe that this reflects how ALL women behave? IRL how many mums do you think are so uncaring? Most love and cherish their families. In life there will be women who definitely should not have had children. But NOT them all as Portrayed in this series.

Does that matter wrote originally wrote this? Still means whoever wrote the script must have a problem with mothers and women. Done you think?
