When this series ends i will miss it but one thing for sure i will not be missing this comment section, if the…
calling a r*pist a toxic part of a story is an intresting way to describe it. And the problem usually lays not with the sympathizing with the characters, but the straight up defending of them/saying that the victim deserved it because of their actions. It's the same narrative people defend some r*pes in real life. So, I think people are allowed to call people out. I legit had people say that they wanted stuff like that done to their exs because they hurt them too. As they say, "life imitates art". There is absolutely a moral superiority complex happening on the internet right now, but this is just not the example for it.
so people will hate yichen for choosing his family over lu Feng, hate the little brother for doing what he thought was best for his brother, but when lu feng kidnaps and tortures yichen not a peep from those people....
I love Miles Wei which is why I tried to push through, but the beginning alone makes me ick so bad. I don't like the writing of how the ML and kid try to push the mom role into the FL when they barely know her. Added by the fact that the ML doesn't seem to actually raise the kid, such as letting him throw tantrums and do what he wants (I know the kid has trauma but that's still not how you handle a child), it makes it extra icky to me. It puts a precedent to the relationship that all he sees in her is a good caretaker
usually, I'm all for maximum fluff and minimum drama but this series is just so boring at times🥲 Love the actors and acting, but I've dropped it for the third and last time😔
🛑🛑🛑to those who finish this drama answer my question pleaseQuestion1. Happy ending?2. Story?3. Chemistry?4.…
1. Yes! 2. Around ep4, we start seeing feelings between them and the story is mainly around them and the business (their jobs). On ep14, they get together and the story becomes less about romance itself and more about how they handle their relationship with family and work stuff. 3. I liked it! They kiss well, a lot of physical touch and they are emotionally open with each other 4. There's a couple of deep kisses and they hint at making love a couple of times though nothing too spicy there. Lots of hugging and affection shown though
Too much negativity in the comments. Yes, if you mostly watch drama filled shows, it might be bland, but if you usually like simple, fluffy stories, this isn't boring. A lot of the story, especially later half, revolves less around the romance itself and more around how they navigate their relationship with their jobs and families. There's still a lot of affection displayed. I will agree with most people's criticism about the "childhood friend" coming back and trying to ruin fl life for a man she knew like 20 years ago. Lastly, I would like to address the comments that say that the relationship felt one sided to them. Fl's concerns about the relationship were very real. As a man in a higher position, the ML didn't worry about it, but as the woman in a lower status, she did. And obviosuly for good reason seeing what happenned!! I don't think that can be held against her to say that the ML tried or felt more. Other than cooking for her and giving her a feet massage when he sees she's upset, I don't see how he put more effort? She helped him with his mother and product accident too, and just in general they were both equally affectionate with each other. Also, he wasn't exactly perfect either, with how he handled his mom finding out and the 💍 situation.
If you haven’t seen Summer Rose watch it. You will get the ending that you wanted but didn’t get for this…
if you think that a man that caused his wife 3 years of great suffering ending up back together with her with no actual redemption from him a happy ending, then yeah
It really blows my mind how differently people see things. Some people watched this and saw a romantic story. I saw this for the tragedy it is. A man who says he loves his wife more than anyone and anything. A man who also purposely hurt her with his words, abandoned her, tricked and lied to her, kept a woman beside him that he told everyone he loved that wasn't his wife. Worst of all? He saw the effects of those actions. He saw her anger, her tears and sadness and he even found out his wife could have died due to it. So what does the man who apparently loves his wife do? He ignores her pleas of leaving her alone and he tells her she should stay with him, because even tought she suffered for a full three years, why should it matter since he still wants to be with her. It truly depresses me that a bunch of people actually wrote this script and filmed it and still called it a romance show.
