Had to drop it halfway through the first episode because I couldn't take the incoherence of the main lead: first…
It is really good, but all cdramas are the same. Mostly with a submissive woman in a lower financial situation becoming in love with a CEO who always has that straight serious face. They hardly laugh, just to show "power". Any male in china can be an actor because all they need to do is to keep a straigh serious face and play a CEO. There is no way one will get that wrong lol
1. Yes2. Typcical rom-com3. Don't expect any chemistry with this ML. He better play poker. His face has no emotion,…
Most chinese actors has no face expression. Also all the wholes are CEOs where they have to make a straight face lol. Easy as f become an actor in china.
This show is only good till episode 26-27. Then it gets really annoying. When they meet each other one propose to another and the other accept, then they decide to not get married, even though their parents believe that they are already married, since that is what they told their parents. Then they make a bet that they will get married after a year, and depending who loses the bet will resign. ML Buy a ring to propose but never propose to her. When he is about to do it many things happens on that day and he end up not doing it, even though he had the chance to do so in the same day. After that he just forget the ring exists. ML end up leaving the company being transferred to another branch, according to their bet, they should get married then, but they kind of forget about it. And it starts to get annoying because the plot is based on the premise of their marriage. The drama kind of lose their focus when he leaves the company along with another coworker, and we start to watch them both working in different places, living together but they don't talk about the marriage anymore. The show starts to focus on the side characters relationships. Then around episode 30 it is too tiring to watch. If I didnt spent hours watching all 26-27 episodes I would have dropped it, but once you go that far it is better to watch untill the end. But right now I am disappointed. Most chinese dramas have a nice plot during 75% of their completion and in the last 25% is usually frustrating and disappointing. As funny as it may sound the side character played by Xu Xiao Han (xiao Tang) is the one who gives the best moment of the show. After she left it kind of died in the following events.
One of the worst chinese romances that I've watched. I had high expectations because of Liang Jie and Dai Xu, but I got disappointed with the very poor writing.
Honestly, most of Chinese dramas are about a CEO who falls in love for a girl in an inferior financial situation. That only shows that chinese writers lack in romance/relationship experience. A society where one date another and they already have expectation of marriage because of the country culture/tradition, most of the time having their partners picked by their parents and interfering in their relationship, you can't expect much.
But even though most of chinese dramas follow the same plot story, some of them at least give us some entertaiment, life lessons, etc. This one you don't feel like you wanna go further than the first episode, but you may watch till episode 10-15 out of boredom lol.
