Gaslighting how exactly ? I was just stating my opinion. You wanting for ML not to s* assault FL is not really relevant. I wish for many things to be differently done in C dramas but that's not relevant also. ML it is as he is, I personally enjoy his duality . If you want him to be different write fan fiction or something or don't watch it, or just wait for redemption arc bc it's coming. And I do think that behaviour is snowflaky tbh, everything what we see in c dramas is extremely mild compared to western series and shows. So stop with hypocrisy.

Yes ML is toxic ,yes he is dominant and rough, yes he is incredibly obsessed with FL . But do I hate him, absolutely not. He is showing us complexity of desiring someone you can't get and probably feeling love for the first time. Did he grape her, no he stop him self, did he forcibly locked her up, no she made a deal with him ( for the SML who is spy btw and didn't cared would he involve her in his shady business). The ML saved her life, is taking care of her mother, obviously not just obsession righ . Do I condone men behaving like that no, absolutely not. Do I condone women behaving like FL also no ( vouching for a spy bc she has sense of obligation and memories with him as a child, and on the other hand she doesn't seem to dislike being close with ML, even provoking him in some instances,she is naive maybe, but not that naive ). Also this series delivers so much. Breaking through stiffness of C drama in general, giving us realistic portail of desire, yearning, losing mind over someone ( and not in a way of 12 years old ). Both characters are played by fabulous actors. Although Ryan ML really shine like a dark star in this role. He is always way more suited for gray moral roles imo. Also I do understand that some people will not enjoy it but bro, then gtfo from here with repetitive negative comments. Score it by your liking/disliking and kindly f off. Don't try to impose your opinion on others constantly. It is rather childish and boring. Go and watch some golden retriever boyfriend drama and let the rest of us enjoy the performance of Ryan Chang and the red flag he is carrying so far.

I really can't understand when tf everyone became such a snowflakes. Do everything needs to be seen through pink glasses and every man in C dramas to be a golden retriever boyfriend type. F no, it's boring, it's repetitive. It's unrealistic.

I didn't dropped it exactly because I love main leads but I wish I did.

I couldn't put it better, and before anyone thinks that this is a haters comment, I actually like lead actors a lot. But the ending is just absolutely awful. I feel like I waisted my time on this series.

Not worth your time.
Bad editing and cheap costumes aside, the lead actors were good and the story had potential mid-way through. However, the last few episodes were a nonsensical disaster with a rushed, completely unbelievable "happy" ending. It’s frustrating because it started off promising, but ultimately it's a huge waste of time.
