To me, hua ru yue is like a spoiled lady who have been receiving abundant love from bai jusi, she couldnt care less abt what he thinks anymore. They were there for love tribulations, shouldnt she just stick with that? I get her self-righteous principles, but she gonna have to pay the price for that. She doesnt have anyone to blame other than herself. Regardless, this drama is still interesting to me. Often times, we see the male character acting self-righteous to the point of suffocation. But hua ru yue, I just knew what she did is gonna cost something huge from her, and maybe bai jusi is gonna be the one to pay for it in the end.

BEST DRAMA EVER. Ive seen people praising the fl in tiktok and insta. Said that she was undefeated and most clever. I thought ppl r exaggerating until i watched it myself and danggggggg she was meticulous. The way she planned for her revenge, to the point that it consumed herself. My girl was DETERMINE. Wu jin yan is AMAZING. Im ashamed of myself for doubting the quality and potential of this drama due to their appearances (the man all bald with one braid at the back😭 im sorry). But I have to say, it deserves a compliment because of how accurate their costumes to Chinese history.

I rewatched the ending again n ure right. Yong qi is saved. I thought since yong qi had a contact with that weird looking bug, he would die. But it seems only ying luo is affected. Bcoz the ending didnt show yong qi’s condition after the event, I assumed he died. Sorry2😭😭😭😭

Ikr. But it doesnt make any sense to me that ying luo predicted eunuch yuan to finally go crazy but couldnt expected that it will somehow affect yong qi. The ying luo from episode one is like a tragedy radar. Anything bad happened, she would immediately know it. Maybe thats the fault in the scrip writing. Tbh, im not satisfied with the death of yong qi, its just so unnecessary.

We get to see Bailu’s character becoming ruthless to her partner again🤣 but there he is, accepting everything n just playing along with her. Im so glad it turns out this way. I really cant stand female character being weak and just accept wtv evil things the guy did to her😭😔✋

I cant imagine a life without zhao lusi’s drama. Her acting and choice of projects are always amazing! Shes the only actress where Im able to watch all her dramas. Its so sad that it had to come to this. C-ent really missed out for losing such gem😭 regardless, shes what made me n many international cdrama fans started to take interest in cdramas, whatever her decisions, I will always be her fan

Its sad that zls is having trouble with her Almost Lover production. She couldve been a great cast for this. Her play as Feng Yin and Bai Fengxi convinced me that she could play shen miao’s character really well. For the ml, idk y, I always imagined Neo Hu anytime XJX appears in the novel.
