You can’t stop a talented actress from pursuing her freedom of creativity. Not when she’s passionate, hardworking in every role she was given to. I am not wrong to say Zhao Lusi brought so many international fans into the Cdrama world. I remembered when Love Like the Galaxy’s edit was all over TikTok FYP and I saw her. From then on, I started to watch all of her works (which is how I found out she also acted in TROTAR) and she DELIVERS EVERY SINGLE TIME. I couldn’t stand to watch Cdrama (most of the time because of the cringe, cutesy, child-like behaviour the FL did), but not Zhao Lusi. I remember having to play LLTG and WRTL back and forth coz I couldn’t believe both FLs are played by the same actress. All I’m trying to say, we as international fans would love to see more of her. It’s safe to say that there’s no project of hers that wasn’t anticipated by the fans and non-fans. Coz we know and we believe in her ability.

It’s almost like she’s weaponizing her vulnerability, using every ounce of feminine charm to pull him in.
But the twist? She’s nothing like that. In reality, she’s incredibly strong, powerful in ways he never saw coming. And I find that both clever and hilarious. It’s such a funny reflection of how easily some men fall for the “damsel in distress” image, only to backpedal the moment they realize the woman they’re falling for is far more capable and complex than they expected.
What I love is that she doesn’t just drop the act early, she fully leans into it. She uses her tears, her perceived fragility, and that innocent demeanor as a tool, all while staying completely in control.
