He only act. Obviously the director probably gave him a role of being a gloomy and non-expressive character. Watch "JACK O' FROST" perhaps "Animal" a both romance series where he is a main character. He cries and expressed his feelings very well in that character. He's an actor and he knows he is professional. He knows his job and what the director tells him too. If he give boring character vibes then maybe it's time to jump off and switch a movie to watch! I respect your opinion but you know, the actors knows more than you and more experienced.
