HL is just a typical romance, we have been watching those kind of dramas for ages, but this is very rare in cdrama we get like 1 or 2 mature dramas a year, and personally ive never liked hl is was sus from the start, my biggest issue was the cast bc they could've chose a slightly older actress for the younger ver of the fl of slightly younger actor for the ml but they chos a 10yo and kept the 25+ yo man it was creepy tbh

Ik their dating era we make us scream, bc we are already losing our minds over this

Juy finished today's ep, i'm def rewatching them later, i've never rewatched eps from an ongoing drama but this, i rewatch them at least 3 times a day 😭 bc they are too short

My fav part is the teasing 😂 sang yan is really at it, not him always telling her that he is afraid she will take his innocence knowing well that's exactly what he wants 😂😂😂

He is a good actor but he doesn't choose great scripts his drama qith julia was good, also the one with gina was fine, i have high hopes for his drama with liu haocun

Kdrama is more popular than cdrama and people will def watch them esp the ones casting big names but they don't talk about it that much here, but cdrama fans enjoy dramas, we really passionate about it ahahah we keep discussing every detail bcs it is just too good

This is following the novel and since it was written first, it doesn't have to match anything but itself

The actor is not really that famous to get main roles, and this is the most famous novel of the writer and one the most loved novels, so they wouldn't risk casting an actor with okay acting skills and small fanbase, no hate tho but he doesn't fit the role as well, he got side character' aura and fits comedy more, he doesn't fit romance.

I refuse to watch anything else while watchin this, bcs I can't focus on other people all i can thin of is my cuties sang yan and wen yifan

I will never take recommendations from people who don't love mature romance/slice of life dramas, or the ones who think it's boring and prefer the Highschool romance with the cute fl who uses her baby voice 😭 that was cute back in 2018/19 but now i guess i'm too old for that...
