It's one of my fav dramas of 2025 and both yuning and zuer are my favs, I didn't say it was bad but it could've been better if it was only 30 eps, few eps felt like a filler but still I loved it.

Tencent gave us nothing this year so it makes sense that top 5 are just popular but not good because they literally had 0 quality this year unlike last year there was joy of life, blossom, love game in eastern fantasy and more ... the prisoner of beauty had the potential but it was too long that they just started to throw random plots for it to reach 30 something eps. If they really care about the quality filter should've been top 1, at least it was well written and served its purpose which is making the audience laugh out loud

on my way to rewatch it, for me this is the best drama of 2025

Yu shuxins performance in the last 2 eps is breathtaking, she is a brilliant actress, those innocent cute roles don't do her justice, glad her upcoming drama has that dark not so happy vibe that suits her better
