Remind me again who are you? I love the audacity of some fans when they think they own a show just because their fav is in it and nobody else has a say! I will hold your hands when I say that you need to get a life instead of attacking everyone who has a dif opinion than yours, it's not the end of the world!

After watching the first 4 ep, I honestly don’t know how to feel about this drama. The trailers gave off a completely different vibe than what the actual show delivers. So far, all that’s really happened is the female lead changing her outfits every ten seconds, and it gets to a point where it feels ridiculously funny. I saw some Chinese comments calling it a “photo album” of the FL changing clothes and posing, and I kind of agree. I still have no idea what they were trying to do in these first 4 ep.

The male lead is just there, not doing much, which I expected since he’s been known for being stiff since day one. I had high hopes because of Lusi, but even her performance here feels like Ju Jingyi just trying to look pretty for the camera. And don’t even get me started on the random background music every five minutes; they play it over the dialogue, which completely ruins the mood.

The only decent part so far is probably Wan Peng. Her acting never disappoints. She doesn’t care about just being a leading lady, she clearly loves her job and always gives her all to every character. I’ll give this drama a chance until ep 10, hoping the plot actually starts to develop instead of just being a fashion show.

Right now, it feels like this was mainly made for the leads’ fans who just want to see their idols on screen, not for general drama fans. Either that, or her company really hates her, because for the past 3 years they’ve only been giving her ridiculous projects to keep her stuck longer.

The costumes look really good, I wish this has a good director that can capture those little moments that makes the chemistry chemistrying as in blossom

I would say yeon a suffered more than ju an bc she was literally a kid when her mom was physically and emotionally abusing her, then she was left alone, had to learn how to fight and all that at a very young age and had to take care of the kids who came after

So basically, the drama "A Dream Within a Dream" is exactly what the title suggests. Both Song Yimeng and Song Xiaoyu are characters from a novel that tells the story of a girl who transmigrates into a script. If you noticed, in the first episode the writer was a man — the one with glasses — but in the last episode, it was a woman, who is actually the original author. Both Nan Heng and Song Yimeng don’t exist in real life. So, the whole drama is about a writer writing a script… where there’s a writer writing a script 😭

This is for the people who didn't get the ending, bc it was not as clear for some ad it was actually genius ⬇️⬇️

This was a good one, the acting is incredible, the characters are well written and the ast fit perfectly, literally can't imagine someone else playing nan heng bcs of the aura, and song yieng bcs of the humor, s is naturally funny, the comedy doesn't feel forced at all.
The music is so good as well, I can't stop listening to the soundtracks 😩
Idk when are going to see liu yuning again, since he is busy with his album and his tour so he is not filming ny drma atm, looking forward to his upcoming projects.
Li yitong as well she has been working so hard yet never got the recognition and appreciation she deserves, hope this is her moment to shine 💖
