Love xiao zhan love his acting, same for jingyi, both are in my top 10 actors, when they are together, the chemistry is great, their conversations are interesting, just like watching two smart people doing their thing, however other scenes are not as interesting to me, the writing gives "this guy is so lucky that's why things are never going wrong" type of character, nd I'm blaming the screenwriter bc the actors are doing an amazing job to fulfill their part which is acting, and i felt that something was wrong in ep 1 when i couldn't empathize with the death of the family, i was like yeah that is part of the story they are going to die and he seeking revenge, but am I feeling what i'm supposed to feel in moments like these?...which is sadness....no.
since this is a 40 eps drama i would probably watch 4 more eps which half of the drama if nothing changed i would put it on hold to watch it later
